Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a skin cosmetic excellent in preventing effects on skin aging by including an extract from a plant of the family Betulaceae and α- hydroxy acids therein. SOLUTION: This cosmetic comprises 0.001-10wt.% of an extract from a plant belonging to the genus of the family Betulaceae and/or the genus Alnus of the same family and 0.01-15wt.% of 2-4C α-hydroxy acids and derivatives thereof (e.g. lactic acid). The cosmetic can be formulated as the form such as a cream, a toilet lotion, a beautifying solution, a pack or a detergent according to a conventional method. Thereby, the cosmetic capable of manifesting preventing effects on skin aging such as promotion of proliferation and differentiation of epidermal cells, promotion of turnover of a horny layer, improvement in keratin, humectant effects and skin beautifying effects is obtained.

軟性を向上させるなど老化症状の防止、改善や肌荒れ症
状の防止、改善する作用があることが開示されている
が、α−ヒドロキシ酸類の配合量を多くすると安定な製
剤化が困難になったり、皮膚刺激性が出現するなどの問
題がある。 従ってより有効で安全性の高い皮膚老化防
止用化粧料の開発が望まれていた。
