Abstract

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a skin cosmetic excellent in preventing effects on skin aging by including an extract from a plant of the family Betulaceae and α- hydroxy acids therein. SOLUTION: This cosmetic comprises 0.001-10wt.% of an extract from a plant belonging to the genus of the family Betulaceae and/or the genus Alnus of the same family and 0.01-15wt.% of 2-4C α-hydroxy acids and derivatives thereof (e.g. lactic acid). The cosmetic can be formulated as the form such as a cream, a toilet lotion, a beautifying solution, a pack or a detergent according to a conventional method.
