【発明が解決しようとする課題】

しかしながら、パセリエキス単独を配合する化粧料では、活性本質は皮膚に容易に浸透し難く、パセリエキス単独ではその効果は十分であるとはいえなかった。また単独で使用した場合、皮膚上でのパセリエキスの安定性に問題があり、使用性が悪かった。

また、近年ではオゾン層の破壊による紫外線量の増大が考えられ、肌にとって有害であり、老化の原因のひとつとして知られている活性酸素の対策やそれに伴ってダメージを受けた肌細胞の賦活化、また、環境の破壊や変化による肌の乾燥などに対応する化粧品の開発が待望されている。

そこでこの発明は、こうした課題に鑑み鋭意研究を重ねた結果、パセリエキス等を単独で配合した場合と比較して画期的に活性酸素消去作用、細胞賦活作用、保湿作用が高まり、皮膚内の活性酸素を消去し、日常の紫外線により受けた皮膚細胞の損傷を回復させ、また皮膚の繊維の損傷を防止し、さらに皮膚内の表皮細胞のターンオーバーを整え、コラーゲンの生合成を高めることにより皮膚のハリを保ち、若々しい肌を維持するという美肌効果を有する皮膚化粧料を提供し、上記課題を解決しようとするものである。

請求項1項の発明は、パセリエキス0.01乃至2.0重量%、ブナの木エキス0.01乃至2.0重量%、及び1,2ペンタンジオール0.01乃至20.0重量%を含有する皮膚化粧料とした。

【実施の形態例】
以下この発明の実施の形態例を説明する。
この発明に用いられるパセリエキスは、パセリ(Petroselium sativum)の葉、茎、根及び全草から抽出されるエキスであり、抽出溶媒は特に限定されないが、水、1,3−ブチレングリコール、エタノール、グリセリン等の溶媒であり、単独若しくは2種以上の混液により抽出されるエキスである。また上記ブナの木エキスはブナの木(Fagus silvatica L.)の幼芽から抽出されるエキスであり、抽出溶媒は特に限定されないが、水、1,3−ブチレングリコール、エタノール、グリセリン等の溶媒であり、単独若しくは2種以上の混液により抽出されるエキスである。

またこの発明に用いられる1,2−ペンタンジオールは二価の脂肪族アルコールの一種で公知の物質であり、以下の性質を有する。

この物質は、保湿成分として化粧料中に使用されており、容易に入手し、この発明の皮膚化粧料中への配合が可能であるが、公知方法により合成したものをこの皮膚化粧料中に配合することも出来る。

この発明に用いられるパセリエキスの配合量は、皮膚化粧料の総量を基準として0.001〜10.0重量%、より好ましくは0.01〜2.0重量%であり、ブナの木エキスの配合量は、皮膚化粧料の総量を基準として0.001〜10.0重量%、より好ましくは0.01〜2.0重量%である。また1,2−ペンタンジオールの配合量は皮膚化粧料の総量を基準として0.01〜20.0重量%が好ましい。

この範囲でパセリエキスとブナの木エキス、及び1,2−ペンタンジオールを組み合わせて配合することにより、この発明の目的とする効果が得られる。

なお、この発明の皮膚化粧料には、上記の他に色素、香料、防腐剤、界面活性剤、顔料、抗酸化剤等をこの発明の目的を達成する範囲内で適宜配合することができる。

次に実施例及び比較例に基づいてこの発明を詳述する。この発明に使用した荒れ肌改善効果試験、角質層のターンオーバー測定試験、官能テストは以下のとおりである。

[荒れ肌改善効果試験]
下脚部に荒れ肌を有する中高年被験者10名を対象に4週間連続塗布し、その効果を評価した。即ち、被験者の左側下脚外側試験部位に1日1回、約0.5gの試料を塗布し、試験開始前及び試験終了後の皮膚の状態を表1の判定基準により判定した。右側下脚部は試料を塗布せずに対照とした。試験前後の試験部位と対照部位の判定結果を比較し、皮膚乾燥度が2段階以上改善された場合(例えば、+→−、++→±)を有効とし、1段階改善された場合をやや有効、変化がなかった場合を無効とした。試験結果は有効、やや有効となった被験者の人数で示した。

[角質層のターンオーバー測定試験]
蛍光色素のダンシルクロライドを白色ワセリン中に5重量%配合した軟膏を作り、被験者10名の前腕部の皮膚に24時間閉塞塗布し、角質層にダンシルクロライドを浸透結合させた。その後同じ部位に1日2回(朝・夕)被試験料を約0.2g塗布し、毎日1回暗所で紫外線ランプを用いて、ダンシルクロライドの蛍光を調べ、その蛍光が消滅するまでの日数を皮膚角質層のターンオーバーとした。測定結果は各被試験者の日数の平均値で示した。なお、通常の皮膚角質層のターンオーバーは13〜16日であるが、老化した皮膚においては、18日前後に延びる。それに対して老化防止効果が現れると13日前後にまで短縮される。

荒れ肌、小じわ、乾燥肌等を訴える女子被試験者(35〜55歳)10人に試料を1日2回(朝・夕)連続4週間塗布して、4週間後の効果を評価した。試験結果は、皮膚の湿潤性、平滑性、弾力性の各項目に対して、皮膚に潤いが生じた、皮膚が滑らかになった、皮膚に張りが生じたと回答した人数で示した。
