Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.細菌感染によって引き起こされる炎症のごとき、特に炎症診断用の、ヒト 疾病用診断マーカーとしてのヒト好中球リポカリン(HNL)の使用。 2.HNLを測定し、測定値を用いて細菌およびウイルス感染症の間を識別す ることを特徴とする請求項1記載の使用。 3.(i)診断すべき個人由来の適当な試料中のHNLレベルを測定し、ついで (ii)測定値レベルと、明らかに健康(正常)な個人について対応するレベル(正 常レベル、正常濃度範囲)とを比較することによって、HNLを疾病に関連付け る(該正常レベルから逸脱した該測定値レベルは、個人が疾病にかかっているこ との兆候とする)ことを特徴とする請求項1または2いずれか1項記載の使用。 4.レベルの上昇を、細菌感染によって引き起こされる炎症に個人がかかって いる可能性が高いことの指標とすることを特徴とする請求項1-3いずれか1項 記載の使用。 5.試料が、血漿もしくは血清試料のごとき血液試料または気管支肺胞洗液の ごとき血液試料であることを特徴とする請求項3または4記載のいずれか1項記 載の使用。 6.HNLのレベルを、生体特異的親和性に基づくイムノアッセイほかのいず れかのアッセイによって測定することを特徴とする請求項1-5いずれか1項記 載の使用。 7.ポリクローナル・ウサギ抗-HNL抗体以外の抗-HNL抗体調製物。 8.モノクローナル抗-HNL抗体調製物。
