Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. 2モードの分子量分布の高密度および線状低密度のエチレン重合体および 共重合体を製造するための触媒組成物であって、 (a) アルミニウムアルキル酸素非含有活性剤;並びに (b) 上記アルミニウムアルキル活性剤によって活性化される、遷移金属 の活性化メタロセン化合物および非メタロセン遷移金属を含む、乾燥無水支持体 含有組成物 を含んでなり、 ここで、支持体は (1) RmMgR′nを含浸した、OH基を有するシリカ、ここで、Rmお よびR′nはそれぞれ1〜12個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基であり、mおよび nはそれぞれ0、1または2であり、但し、m+nはMgの原子価に等しく、そ してRmMgR′nは、RmMgR′n:OHのモル比が0.5:1〜4:1となる 量で存在する;および (2) 式R″O−(式中、R″は1〜12個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基 である)を有するアルコキシ基を提供する有機アルコール試薬;上記アルコキシ 基は、上記RmMgR′nのRmおよびR′nを置換するのに有効であり;上記試薬 は、アルコール:Mgのモル比が0.5〜2.0となるのに有効な量で用いられ る の反応生成物である、上記触媒組成物。 2. RmおよびR′nがそれぞれ4〜10個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基である 、請求項1に記載の触媒組成物。 3. RmおよびR′nがそれぞれブチル基である、請求項2に記載の触媒。 4. RmおよびR′nがそれぞれn−ブチル基である、請求項2に記載の触媒。 5. R″が1〜8個の炭素原子を含むアルキル基である、請求項1〜4のいず れか1項に記載の触媒。 6. R″O−がアルコールとして提供される、前記請求項のいずれか1つに記 載の触媒。 7. 反応生成物が (i) 非極性溶媒と−OH基を有する固体多孔質シリカとのスラリー を与えること; (ii) 上記シリカを上記RmMgR′nで含浸して中間体(ii)を形 成すること、ここでMg:−OH基の比は2未満であり、上記RmMgR′nは上 記非極性溶媒に可溶性である; (iii) 工程(ii)からの中間体を一定量のR″OHで処理すること 、R″OHの量は、R″OH:RmMgR′nのモル比が0.5〜2.0となるの に有効な量である によって形成される、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載の触媒。 8. 工程(iii)の後に、 (iv) 工程(iii)の生成物をTiCl4で処理して、チタン含有 中間体を形成すること;並びに (v) チタン含有中間体と上記活性剤とを結合すること を含んでなる工程をさらに含む 請求項7に記載の触媒。 9. 非メタロセン遷移金属がチタンである、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載 の触媒。 10. 非メタロセン遷移金属が四塩化チタンである、請求項9に記載の触媒。 11. 活性剤がトリメチルアルミニウムである、前記請求項のいずれか1項に 記載の触媒。 12. メタロセン遷移金属が式CpxMAyBzを有する化合物として与えられ 、式中Cpは1〜6個の炭素原子のアルキルまたはアルキレンで置換されたまた は置換されていないシクロペンタジエニルであり;xは少なくとも1であり;A およびBはそれぞれハロゲンまたは1〜8個の炭素原子のアルキルであり;y+ zは3以下であり、但し、x+y+zはMの原子価に等しく;そしてMはチタン 、ジルコニウムおよびハフニウムよりなる群から選択される、前記請求項のいず れか1項に記載の触媒。 13. メタロセン化合物がビス(シクロペンタジエニル)ジルコニウムジクロ リドおよびビス(n−ブチルシクロペンタジエニル)ジルコニウムジクロリドよ りなる群から選択される、請求項12に記載の触媒。 14. メタロセン化合物が、メチルアルモキサンの溶液で活性化され;シリカ の細孔容積が1.0〜4.0cm3/gであり;そして溶液の体積が全細孔容積 に等しい、前記請求項のいずれか1項に記載の触媒。 15. 2モードの分子量分布の高密度および線状低密度のエチレン重合体およ び共重合体を製造する方法であって、エチレンを、前記請求項のいずれかで定義 された触媒の存在下、単一反応器中で重合して、2モードの分子量分布の高密度 および線状低密度のエチレン重合体を製造する、上記の方法。 16. 上記エチレンをC3−C8アルファ−オレフィンと共重合させて、2モー ドの分子量分布の高密度および線状低密度のエチレン共重合体を製造する、請求 項15に記載の方法。
