Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1. ポリエステル供給流からジカルボン酸を回収する方法であって、 (a)ポリエステルを、アルカリ金属水酸化物、そして必要であれば水と接触さ せて、アルカリ金属カルボン酸塩とジオール又はグリコールとを含む加水分解混 合物を形成し、 (b)酸化剤の添加により前記加水分解混合物を酸化して、不溶性不純物を含む 酸化混合物を形成し、 (c)前記酸化混合物から不溶性不純物を除去し、 (d)前記酸化混合物を酸性化して酸性化混合物を形成し、該酸性化混合物から ジカルボン酸を沈殿させ、 (e)前記酸性化混合物からジカルボン酸を回収する 操作を含む前記方法。 2. ポリエステルがポリエチレンテレフタレートであり、ジカルボン酸がテレ フタル酸である請求項1に記載の方法。 3. 酸化剤を、空気、過酸化水素、オゾン、酸素及びこれらの物質2種類以上 の混合物の中から選択する請求項2に記載の方法。 4. 酸化剤が空気である請求項3に記載の方法。 5. 加水分解混合物を酸化するステップを、加水分解混合物中に空気を分散さ せることによって実施する請求項1から4のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 6. 加水分解混合物を形成するための別の成分としてアルコールを含ませる請 求項1から5のいずれか一項に記載の方法。 7. 加水分解混合物を形成するための別の成分として水酸化第四アンモニウム 又は非イオン界面活性剤を含ませる請求項1から6のいずれか一項に記載の方法 。 8. 請求項2から7のいずれか一項に記載の方法で回収したテレフタル酸生成 物。 9. 350ナノメートルで0.30以下の色吸光度を示す請求項8に記載のテ レフタル酸生成物。 10. ポリエステルをアルカリ金属水酸化物と接触させて加水分解混合物を形 成し、該加水分解混合物を酸性化してテレフタル酸を回収することによりポリエ ステル供給流からジカルボン酸を回収する方法であって、加水分解混合物を形成 するための別の成分として水酸化第四アンモニウム又は非イオン界面活性剤を加 えることを特徴とする前記方法。
