Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.車両または航空機乗員の膨脹性拘束デバイス用の、燃焼時にガスを発生する アジド化合物を含有していないガス発生組成物であって、(a)相安定化した硝 酸アンモニウム(PSAN);(b)硝酸トリアミノグアニジン、硝酸ジアミノ グアニジン、硝酸モノアミノグアニジン、硝酸グアニジン、3−ニトロ−1,2 ,4−トリアゾール−5−オンおよびその塩、ウラゾール、トリアゾール類、テ トラゾール類およびその塩、オキサミド、オキザリルジヒドラジド、メラミン、 ピリミジン類からなる群およびこの群の2種または3種以上の混合物から選択さ れる少なくとも1種の窒素含有燃料;および(c)0〜12%の有機ポリマー結 合剤からなるガス発生組成物。 2.PSAN対燃料比が、平衡排出ガスに許容される酸素量を0〜3.0容量% にするように調節されている、請求項1に記載のガス発生組成物。 3.上記比が、酸素許容量を0〜約2.0容量%にする比である、請求項2に記 載のガス発生組成物。 4.PSANの量が、組成物の約50〜80重量%である、請求項1に記載のガ ス発生組成物。 5.燃料が、硝酸トリアミノグアニジン(TAGN)からなる、請求項4に記載 のガス発生組成物。 6.(a)PSAN、約64.7重量%;(b)TAGN、 約31.77重量%;および(c)オキサミド、約353重量%の混合物からな る、請求項5に記載のガス発生組成物。 7.(a)PSAN、約64.90重量%;(b)TAGN、約28.08重量 %;および(c)オキサミド、約7.02重量%の混合物からなる、請求項5に 記載のガス発生組成物。 8.(a)PSAN、約59.4重量%;(b)TAGN、約32.48重量% ;および(c)硝酸グアニジン、約8.12重量%の混合物からなる、請求項5 に記載のガス発生組成物。 9.(a)PSAN、約60.51重量%;および(b)TAGN、約39.5 0重量%の混合物からなる、請求項5に記載のガス発生組成物。 10.(a)PSAN、約59.30重量%;および(b)TAGN、約40. 70重量%の混合物からなる、請求項5に記載のガス発生組成物。 11.(a)PSAN、約60.40重量%;および(b)TAGN、約39. 60重量%の混合物からなる、請求項5に記載のガス発生組成物。 12.PSANと燃料とが混合され、次いでペレットの形態に圧縮成型されてお り、このペレット状組成物は燃焼させた場合に、その燃焼速度が1000psi で0.3インチ/秒よりも実質的に早くなるように、約50〜80重量%の酸化 剤が存在している、請求 項1に記載のアジド化合物を含有していないガス発生組成物。 13.結合剤が、エポキシ、ポリカーボネート、ポリエステル、ポリウレタンお よびブタジエンゴムからなる群および上記ポリマーの2種または3種以上の混合 物から選択される、請求項1に記載のガス発生組成物。 14.請求項5に記載のアジド化合物を含有していないガス発生組成物の製造方 法であって、(a)重量計量した硝酸アンモニウムおよび硝酸カリウムを一緒に 、熱水中に溶解し、(b)生成する溶液を冷却させ、次いで乾燥させて、乾燥P SANを生成させ、(c)粉末に粉砕し、このようにして得られた乾燥PSAN の重量を計量し、(d)硝酸トリアミノグアニジン含有燃料を乾燥させ、次いで 重量計量し、(e)上記乾燥PSANと乾燥燃料とを混合し、(f)生成する乾 燥混合物を粉末に粉砕し、次いで(g)この粉末を加圧下にペレットに成型する 工程からなる、前記製造方法。 15.請求項5に記載のアジド化合物を含有していないガス発生組成物の製造方 法であって、(a)重量計量した硝酸アンモニウムおよび硝酸カリウムを、湿っ た状態の硝酸トリアミノグアニジンと混合し、次いで乾燥させ、生成する乾燥混 合物を粉末に粉砕し、次いで(b)この粉末を加圧下にペレットに成型す る工程からなる、前記製造方法。 16.請求項5に記載のアシド化合物を含有していないガス発生組成物の製造方 法であって、(a)湿式法により水またはアルコールにより湿潤させた硝酸トリ アミノグアニジンを生成し、(b)重量計量した上記湿った硝酸トリアミノグア ニジンを、重量計量した乾燥硝酸アンモニウムおよび乾燥硝酸カリウムと混合し て、湿ったガス発生剤混合物を生成させ、(c)乾燥させ、このようにして得ら れた乾燥ガス発生剤混合物を粉砕して、粉末を生成させ、次いで(d)この粉末 を加圧下にペレットに成型する工程からなる、前記製造方法。
