【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【発明の属する技術分野】本発明は包装機における溶着
装置、詳しくはシール状ヒータ帯の発生する熱を基台に
奪われることなく、樹脂製包装袋の溶着処理を行う包装
機における溶着装置に関する。

【従来の技術】一般に、樹脂製包装袋に収納した包装物
等を長期保存する為に包装袋内を真空状態にして密封す
る包装機において、樹脂製包装袋を密封する溶着装置と
しては金属製の基台の上にシール状ヒータ帯を取り付け
るという構造が良く知られている。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、金属性
の基台にシール状ヒータ帯を直接取り付けるため、シー
ル状ヒータ帯の熱が基台に奪われ該シール状ヒータ帯の
温度が所定の温度に上昇するまで溶着が完全にできない
という欠点があった。そのため、基台に熱が伝導しない
ように樹脂製の基台を使用するものもあるが、長期にわ
たって使用することにより基台が熱によって変形し、完
全な溶着ができなくなる問題点があった。本発明は上記
問題点を解消し、樹脂製包装袋の開口部を効率的に、且
つ確実に溶着して密封することができる包装機における
溶着装置を提供することをその課題とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記課題を解決するた
め、本発明に係る包装機における溶着装置は、樹脂製包
装袋の開口部を熱で溶着し密封する包装機の溶着装置で
あって、基台の上面に断熱層を形成し、該断熱層の上面
に重合して基台の長手方向にシール状ヒータ帯を配置
し、該シール状ヒータ帯の上面をテフロン樹脂で覆った
ことを特徴とする。なお、上記断熱層をシリコンゴムで
形成することが好ましい。

【発明の実施の形態】以下、図面によって本発明の実施
の形態の一例について説明する。
【０００６】図１は本発明に係る溶着装置を適用した包
装機を示し、この包装機は把手１を持って蓋部２を上方
に開き、図２に示すように本体３内の真空室４に物品を
収納した樹脂製包装袋５を収容した後、上記蓋部２を再
び閉じて、操作パネル６上の操作ボタンを操作して真空
室４内を真空にして樹脂製包装袋５内を真空にした後、
樹脂製包装袋５の開口部５ａを溶着装置Ａとシリコンゴ
ム帯２０を取着した圧着部７とで挟み込んで溶着し、真
空状態に密封するように設けられている。
【０００７】なお、符号８は蓋部２を本体３に固定して
真空室４を密封する固定用フック、９は作動状態を外部
から視認する為のガラス窓である。
【０００８】図３において、符号Ａは本発明に係る包装
機における溶着装置（以下、溶着装置という）を示し、
該溶着装置Ａは図２に示すように包装機内部左側の前後
方向にわたって配置され、加熱した該溶着装置Ａ上に載
置した樹脂製包装袋５を圧着部７と溶着装置Ａとで挟む
ことにより溶着して密封するように設けられたもので、
上記溶着装置Ａは主に基台１０と、断熱層１１と、シー
ル状ヒータ帯１２と、テフロン樹脂１３とから構成され
ている。
【０００９】基台１０はアルミニュウム等の金属製の略
直方体で、その両端下部に形成された切り欠き部１０ａ
にはシール状ヒータ帯１２の電極１２ａを固定する絶縁
体１４がそれぞれ取着され、上記絶縁体１４の一方には
略く字状に形成された板バネ１５の一端が固定されてい
る。この板バネ１５は後述のシール状ヒータ帯１２が基
台１０上で撓まないように常時基台１０の長手一方向に
伸長するように付勢している（図４参照）。
【００１０】断熱層１１は帯状のシリコンゴムで構成さ
れ、この断熱層１１は上記基台１０の上面の長手方向に
沿って貼着され、その両端は基台１０の両側面部に貼着
されている。この断熱層１１は後述のシール状ヒータ帯
１２の発生する熱が上記基台１０に奪われないように設
けられている。
【００１１】シール状ヒータ帯１２は帯状に形成され、
このシール状ヒータ帯１２の両端には電極１２ａが設け
られ、該電極１２ａにはリード線１８が螺子２１でそれ
ぞれ接続されている。このシール状ヒータ帯１２は上記
断熱層１１の上面に沿って長手方向に配置され、その一
端は基台１０に固定された一方の絶縁体１４の下側面に
押え板１６を介してボルト１７で固定され、他端は板バ
ネ１５を経由して他方の絶縁体１４の下面部に押え板１
６を介してボルト１７でそれぞれ固定されている。
【００１２】なお、シール状ヒータ帯１２の電極１２ａ
に接続されたリード線１８は上記押え板１６に形成され
た開口部１９を貫通して電源部（図示せず）に接続され
ている。
【００１３】テフロン樹脂１３はシート状のテフロンテ
−プで構成され、該テフロン樹脂１３は前述のシール状
ヒータ帯１２の上面を覆うように取り付けられ、その両
端はシール状ヒータ帯１２とともに押え板１６で絶縁体
１４に固定されている。
【００１４】上述のように構成された包装機における溶
着装置Ａは、シール状ヒータ帯１２に通電し発熱させる
と、このシール状ヒータ帯１２の発生した熱は断熱層１
１で断熱されて基台１０に伝導することがなくなるた
め、図２に示すように溶着装置Ａ上に載置した樹脂製包
装袋５を圧着部７で押しつけて挟み込むことによって充
分に溶着し確実に密封することができる。
【００１５】さらに、基台１０には金属を使用している
ので繰り返し使用しても変形することがなく、圧着部７
を溶着装置Ａに圧着した時にシリコンゴム帯２０の表面
と溶着装置Ａの表面とを密着させることができ、確実に
樹脂製包装袋５を溶着して密封することができる。

【発明の効果】請求項１の発明によれば、シール状ヒー
タ帯の発生する熱が基台に奪われないので通電開始の段
階から安定した熱を確保することができ、包装機の使用
開始直後から安定した溶着加工ができ、高い溶着品質と
作業効率に優れた真空包装を行うことができる。
【００１７】請求項２の発明によれば、断熱層にシリコ
ンゴムを使用したので長期間にわたり表面を安定した状
態に維持できるので、長期にわたって安定した溶着加工
ができるとともに寿命の長い溶着装置を提供することが
できる。

  1. 【請求項１】 樹脂製包装袋の開口部を熱で溶着して密
    封する包装機の溶着装置であって、基台の上面に断熱層
    を形成し、該断熱層の上面に重合して基台の長手方向に
    シール状ヒータ帯を配置し、該シール状ヒータ帯の上面
    をテフロン樹脂で覆ったことを特徴とする包装機におけ
    る溶着装置。
  2. 【請求項２】 前記断熱層をシリコンゴムで形成したこ
    とを特徴とする請求項１に記載の包装機における溶着装
    置。
