Abstract

PURPOSE: To secure a perfect water-tightness and air-tightness even when fine uneven surface exist on the contact face of a gasket, by forming a hollow groove at one longitudinal side of a seal base material and filling a material made of a plastic resin so as to closely contact the groove. CONSTITUTION: A hollow groove 7 with a narrow opening 6 width is formed at least at one longitudinal side of the seal base material 2 of a gasket 1 made of elastic synthetic resin material. Then, a material 9A made of a plastic resin such as non-cured rubber is charged in the hollow groove 7 to make a unified body. This gasket 1 is attached to a window aluminum sash frame or the like and fixed to a building window with the contact material 9A. The gasket itself is deformed and the material 9A closely fitted is strongly pressed on the wall face due to the elasticity. Then the narrow opening 6 of the groove of the seal base material 2 is widened and the material 9A in the inside of the groove contacts the wall face and hence, the material penetrates in fine recessed grooves of the wall face to perfectly seal it. Accordingly, the water-tightness and air-tightness can be securely kept.

When the above-mentioned conventional gasket is interposed between, for example, an aluminum sash window frame and a building wall surface, if the wall surface is smooth, there is no problem in maintaining watertightness and airtightness. In many cases, a decorative ground pattern is formed on quasi-fireproof walls, etc., and fine groove lines are also formed in a complicated manner. It is not possible to close the fine groove due to the bending limit. Therefore, even if a problem does not occur normally, there is a problem that when the atmospheric pressure is slightly higher than that in the building, rain permeates inward from the fine groove to cause rain leakage and freezes. The present invention has been developed for the purpose of solving these problems and providing a gasket capable of completely sealing a surface having fine grooves in which a conventional gasket cannot enter.

The present invention takes the following technical means in order to solve the above problems and achieve the object. That is, according to the present invention, a hollow groove having a narrow groove opening is formed on at least one surface along the longitudinal direction of a gasket made of an elastic synthetic resin material, and a close contact material made of a plastic resin is packed inside to be integrated. The elastic synthetic resin is, for example, a synthetic rubber-based, silicone rubber-based, or fluororubber-based single or composite foam, and has appropriate hardness and cushioning properties. The plastic resin has a proper viscosity and plasticity when, for example, unvulcanized rubber is used.

The present invention constructed as described above has the following actions. That is, when this gasket is mounted on, for example, an aluminum sash window frame and the close contact material is pressed against the building wall to be attached, the gasket itself is crushed and the close contact material is strongly pressed against the wall surface due to its elasticity. In this case, the narrow groove opening widens, and the close contact material made of plastic resin comes into close contact with the wall, and since the plastic resin is soft and viscous, it enters the fine groove on the wall surface and completes the seal, so it is watertight. The sex and airtightness are perfect.

Embodiments of the present invention will be described with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a gasket. The gasket 1 has ears 3.3 formed on both sides of the base end of the seal base 2 and contact ridges 4.4 formed on both sides of the tip, and has a length of 6 mm.
Although it is set to about 7 meters, it can be formed indefinitely at the time of manufacturing due to extrusion molding. The width of the gasket 1 is, for example, 2 to 6 cm, and can be arbitrarily changed by the mounting member. The base end face 8 is formed in a concave arc shape in the width center part, and the base end face 8 is in contact with the window frame 10, for example, and the ears 3.
3 is locked by the locking portion 10A of the window frame 10 (see FIG. 2).
reference). A hollow groove 7 having a narrow groove opening 6 is formed in the central portion of the width of the tip surface 5 along the longitudinal direction. The hollow groove 7 has a substantially circular cross section, and the tip surface 5 of the seal base 2 is a tangent line. .
The seal base 2 is formed of an elastic foam synthetic resin such as polyethylene, polyurethane, polyvinyl chloride, ethylene propylene, terpolymer rubber, silicon-based or fluororubber-based material by extrusion molding. Immediately after the seal base 2 is extruded, however, a close contact member 9A made of a separately extruded plastic resin (for example, unvulcanized rubber) is simultaneously molded while being fitted in the hollow groove 7 to form a close contact portion 9. It is integrally formed. The seal base 2 is a seal against wind and rain of a building.
If it is a resin, fire resistance is also required, so elastically due to foaming is given qualitatively, so a hard material is selected as the resin material, for example, outside silicon, fire resistant / weather resistant material, etc. are known. Mixed in the way. The close contact material is a seal base 2
Since it is intended to assist in the difficulty of sealing the fine grooves and recesses, any material that suits the purpose may be used. FIG. 2 shows a state in which the gasket 1 having the above structure is mounted on the aluminum sash window frame 10. Then, when the close contact portion 9 is brought into contact with the wall surface 11 and the window frame 10 is pressed toward the wall surface 11 to fix the screw 12, the seal base body 2 is compressed and the groove opening 6 thereof is opened so that the inside of the hollow groove 7 is closed. The close contact member 9A is flatly crushed and comes into close contact with the wall surface 11 widely. In this case, the contact protrusions 4.4 projecting from the tip surface 5 of the seal base 2 hold the contact material 9A so as to hold it from both sides, so that the contact material 9A is prevented from protruding and flowing out. As described above, even when the wall surface 11 has fine irregularities and the seal base body 2 made of a conventional material cannot be completely watertight, the close contact material 9A which is soft, adhesive and plastic is formed on the wall surface 11. Due to the close contact, even if the window frame 10 is attached to the outside of the wall surface 11, the watertightness and airtightness are completely ensured on a day with strong wind and rain.

A. Since a hollow groove having a narrow groove opening is formed on the tip surface of the seal base and a close contact material made of a plastic resin is integrally packed in the hollow groove, when the seal is applied, the seal base is sealed. Even in the case of a fine groove that cannot be sealed, there is an effect that a close contact material having flexibility and plasticity comes into contact with the groove to enter the groove and completely maintain watertightness and airtightness.

B. Since the hollow groove has a narrow groove opening, the close contact material of the plastic resin has an effect of suppressing the overflow and the outflow of the seal base body due to the pressure applied to the seal base body and the temperature.

C. Since the seal base is made of a foamed synthetic resin material, it is compressed during the seal. Therefore, the tip of the seal base surrounding the close contact material is compressed during compression, and the flattening force of the compressed close contact material pushes open the groove mouth of the hollow groove, resulting in the close contact material being widely spread on the opposite surface. It has the effect of closely improving the sealing effect.
