Description

【0001】

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION
The present invention relates to a window frame sealing method using rubber packing, which is interposed between a window frame such as an aluminum sash and a plate glass and prevents rainwater from entering from the periphery of the plate glass to the indoor side.
[0002]
[Prior art]
Conventionally, packing that has rubber elasticity has been used as one of the means for maintaining watertightness and airtightness between the plate glass attached to the window frame and the window frame, but it is easy to attach to the window frame. It was necessary to improve the sealing property with the glass surface while considering the properties.
[0003]
As an example, in Japanese Utility Model Laid-Open No. 6-8684, the hardness of the silicone rubber forming the rubber packing is changed between a portion that fits into the window frame and a portion that adheres to the glass, and the former portion has a high hardness and the latter portion. It has been proposed to form a low hardness.
[0004]
[Problems to be solved by the invention]
However, there is a limit even if it is said that the part to be in close contact with the glass is made of low-hardness rubber, and since it has a certain degree of hardness, a minute gap is generated between the glass surface, and rainwater flows from this gap during heavy wind and rain. There is a risk of entering the room.
[0005]
Also, in order to integrally form rubber packings with partially different hardnesses, multiple rubber extruders are required, and materials with different hardnesses are merged and integrated in the crosshead. There is a problem that it is complicated and the manufacturing equipment becomes complicated.
[0006]
Accordingly, an object of the present invention is to provide a window frame sealing method using a rubber packing that can be easily molded with improved sealing performance with respect to a glass surface for the purpose of solving the above problems. is there.
[0007]
[Means for Solving the Problems]
The present invention relates to a sealing method using a rubber packing for holding the water-tightness of engagement that the fitting portion fits the glass sheet to the support frame of the sash or the like of the window frame, the rubber packing and the packing main body for mounting to a support frame A water-swellable sealing material mounted in the packing body, the packing body having a surface part exposed to the outside and a lip part contacting the plate glass surface, and in the vicinity of the lip part of the surface part And having a sealing material accommodation groove formed in a place where it is easy to be exposed to rainwater, fitting the water-expandable sealing material into the sealing material accommodation groove, and the water-expandable sealing material entering the sealing material accommodation groove The window frame sealing method is configured to press the lip portion so as to be pressed against the plate glass surface by absorbing and swelling the rainwater.
[0008]
Further, the water-swellable sealing material of the rubber packing used in the above window frame sealing method is a vulcanized molded product obtained by mixing a polymer water-absorbing agent with a rubber base material and extruding it into a string shape.
[0009]
The present invention comprises a rubber packing comprising a packing body attached to a support frame and a water-swellable sealing material mounted in the packing body, and the polymer water-absorbing agent contained in the water-swelling sealing material absorbs moisture and gels. When it swells, the lip portion of the packing body is pressed along with it and comes into close contact with the glass surface without any gap, thereby completely preventing the entry of wind and rain.
[0010]
In addition, the present invention is a simple combination that only fits the water-expandable sealing material extruded in a string shape into the groove of the surface portion exposed to the outside of the packing body formed by ordinary extrusion molding. In addition to being able to obtain rubber packing with improved water sealability and improved sealability early, even if the water-swellable sealant has poor weather resistance, it is stored in a place that is not exposed to direct sunlight. It can withstand long-term use without deterioration.
[0011]
【Example】
Embodiments of the present invention will be described below with reference to the drawings.
FIG. 1 is an enlarged cross-sectional view of a rubber packing 5 according to the present invention. FIG. 2 shows a pair of glass plates 1 and 1 on a support frame 2 such as an aluminum sash, rubber packing 5 on the outdoor side A, and packing 12 on the indoor side B. It is sectional drawing which shows the state attached.
[0012]
In the support frame 2 in which the plate glass 1 is fitted, fitting grooves 3 and 3 for fitting the rubber packing 5 and the packing 12 are formed inward, and the plate glass 1 is supported on the bottom surface of the support frame 2. In addition, a rubber block 4 that can slide freely is installed.
[0013]
Reference numeral 6 denotes a packing body of the rubber packing 5 of the present invention attached to the outdoor side. A synthetic rubber material such as silicone rubber is integrally formed in a strip shape by extrusion molding, and is engaged with the fitting groove 3 of the support frame 2. A sealing member receiving groove 10 is engraved in the vicinity of the lip portion 8 on the surface portion 9 that has a locking portion 7 that stops and a lip portion 8 that contacts the surface of the plate glass 1 and is exposed to the outside of the packing body 6. .
[0014]
11 is a water-expandable seal material fitted in the seal material accommodation groove 10, and this seal material 11 is made by mixing a polymer water-absorbing agent powder with a base material having rubber elasticity such as silicone rubber or chloroprene rubber, Vulcanized by extrusion molding.
[0015]
The polymer water-absorbing agent is powdery in a non-water-absorbing state, but has the property of gelling and expanding its volume when it absorbs water, and once absorbed moisture retains it internally even when a considerable pressure is applied. It has the characteristic of not releasing.
[0016]
Therefore, when the sealing material 11 mounted in the housing groove 10 is expanded by water, the lip portion 8 in the vicinity of the expansion in the radial direction is strongly pressed against the surface of the glass sheet 1.
[0017]
In addition, since the accommodation groove 10 of the packing body 6 is opened to the outside along the longitudinal direction, it can be easily mounted by inserting the sealing material 11 from this opening.
[0018]
Reference numeral 12 denotes a rubber-elastic packing attached to the support frame 2 on the indoor side, and maintains watertightness and airtightness between the plate glass on the indoor side and the window frame.
[0019]
【The invention's effect】
As described above, according to the present invention, when the water-expandable sealing material inserted in the housing groove of the packing body absorbs rainwater and expands, the lip portion in contact with the plate glass surface is pressed more strongly. The gap around the plate glass is more completely sealed to exhibit excellent sealing properties, and rain water can be reliably prevented from entering for many years.
[0020]
In addition, since the water-expandable seal material is placed in a place where it is easy to be exposed to rainwater, such as a groove on the surface exposed outside the packing body, even if it is light rain, it immediately absorbs water and expands. For example, as compared with the case where a water-expandable seal is attached to a lip portion that comes into contact with the glass surface, for example, the water-expandable seal material is rapidly expanded, thereby ensuring a reliable sealability. At the same time, it is easy to mold the rubber packing.
