であつて、該発泡構造体はルーフの比較的広い範

光板2はポリカーボネート樹脂(例えばLEXAN
FL2000(EPL社製))を熱プレス、真空あるいは
射出成形などで成形したものであり、無色透明あ
るいは着色された透明体である。また、発泡構造
体3は、ガラス繊維あるいは無機フイラーを発泡
核剤として含有するポリカーボネート樹脂を化学
発泡剤またはN2ガスとともに射出成形したもの
である。この成形は、透光板2を型内に取付けた
後上記発泡性ポリカーボネート樹脂を化学発泡剤
またはN2ガスとともに射出することにより行わ
れ、発泡性ポリカーボネート樹脂が発泡すること
により透光板2と発泡構造体3とが一体で形成さ
れる。また透光板2と発泡構造体3との間に設け
られている弾性体4は、必ずしも必要ないが透光
板2と発泡構造体3との間の成形収縮を防止する
ためのもので、耐熱性が良く、汚染性の少ないも
の、例えばシリコンゴムが用いられる。このよう
な構造において、発泡構造体3の板厚は強度上6
mm以上が好ましく、透光板2はその1/2以下がよ
