(57)【要約】 【目的】特定の化学構造のアルキルカーボネートを有効
成分として含有するプレス成型油をプレス成型に用いる
ことにより、成型性を落とすことなく、残存するプレス
成型油の除去処理を容易におこなうことができる。 【構成】シャドウマスク等をプレス成型する際、下記式
(化1)で示されるアルキルカーボネートを有効成分と
して含有してなるプレス成型油をプレス表面に塗布し、
金属材料をプレス成型した後、温水を使用して前記プレ
ス成型油を洗浄除去し、しかる後乾燥するか、または加
熱により熱分解することにより、約10μg/cm2

【発明の詳細な説明】
【0001】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、例えば陰極線管用シャ
ドウマスクなどに用いられるプレス成型油及びそれを用
いたプレス成型品の処理方法に関する。さらに詳しく
は、有機溶剤を使用すること無く除去できる陰極線管部
品用プレス成型油及びそれを用いたプレス成型品の処理
方法に関する。

【従来の技術】一般にプレス加工した金属製品は、その
表面にプレス油が付着する。従来、例えば陰極線管用シ
ャドウマスクなどのプレス成型をはじめとするプレス工
程では、0.1〜0.25mmの薄板平板を所定の設計
曲面を得るため深絞加工を行っている。この工程では、
成型時の金型と平板との負荷率をさげる目的で潤滑油を
付与している。ここで用いられるプレス油として鉱物油
が知られているが、一般の油は負荷率をさげるため油
分、S,Cl,Si等の添加剤を含む。これらの成分は
残存すると、電子管を製造するうえではガス、エミッシ
ョン等に影響を与える。一般的に、清浄度の範囲は約1
0μg/cm2 以下の油分残渣であれば黒化処理は良好
な品質を得ることができ、ガス、エミッション等に影響
を与えないとされている。そのため従来は、トリクロロ
エタンなどの塩素系有機溶剤を用いてプレス油を除去す
ることが一般的に行われていた。しかしながら、トリク
ロロエタンなどの塩素系有機溶剤は、地球環境保護上、
使用することが好ましくない。そのため、高級アルコー
ル系を用いた水系洗浄剤による洗浄方法が提案されてい
る(特開平6−73576号公報)。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】しかしながら、前記特
開平6−73576号公報の提案は、特殊な水系洗浄剤
を用いるため、装置が大きくなり、プレス成型油の除去
処理費用が高くなるという問題があった。とくにテレビ
ジョンなどの陰極線管部品に用いられるシャドウマスク
などは、プレス成型油が残存すると陰極線などの影響を
受けて画像特性に重要な影響を与える。
【0004】本発明は、前記従来の問題を解決するた
め、プレス成型油の除去処理を容易におこなうことがで
きる陰極線管部品用プレス成型油及びそれを用いたプレ
ス成型品の処理方法を提供することを目的とする。

【課題を解決するための手段】前記目的を達成するた
め、本発明の陰極線管部品用プレス成型油は、前記一般
式(化1)で示されるアルキルカーボネートを有効成分
として含有してなるという構成を備えたものである。
【0006】前記構成においては、前記式(化1)中、
1 及びR2 の炭素原子数が12〜16の範囲の混合物
であることが好ましい。次に本発明の第1番目のプレス
成型品の処理方法は、前記一般式(化1)で示されるア
ルキルカーボネートを有効成分として含有してなるプレ
ス成型油をプレス表面に塗布し、金属材料をプレス成型
した後、プレス成型された金属材料を温水を使用して前
記プレス成型油を洗浄除去し、しかる後乾燥するという
構成を備えたものである。
【0007】前記構成においては、温水の温度が40〜
80℃であり、金属材料を温水に浸漬処理またはシャワ
ー処理することが好ましい。次に本発明の第2番目のプ
レス成型品の処理方法は、前記一般式(化1)で示され
るアルキルカーボネートを有効成分として含有してなる
プレス成型油をプレス表面に塗布し、金属材料をプレス
成型した後、プレス成型された金属材料を加熱して前記
プレス成型油を蒸発または熱分解して除去するという構
成を備えたものである。
【0008】前記構成においては、加熱温度が100〜
600℃であり、CO、CO2 及び不活性ガスから選ば
れる少なくとも一つのガスを含む雰囲気条件であること
が好ましい。
【0009】また前記構成においては、プレス成型品
が、黒化処理前の陰極線管用シャドウマスクであること
が好ましい。

【作用】前記本発明の陰極線管部品用プレス成型油の構
成によれば、前記一般式(化1)で示されるアルキルカ
ーボネートを有効成分として含有してなることにより、
プレス成型性を落とすことなく、残存するプレス成型油
の除去処理が容易におこなうことができる。この結果、
テレビジョンなどの陰極線管部品に用いられるシャドウ
マスクなどの成型に用いても、プレス成型油は残存せず
画像特性に影響を与えない。
【0011】前記において、前記式(化1)中、R1
びR2 の炭素原子数が12〜16の範囲の混合物である
という好ましい構成によれば、さらにプレス成型性を落
とすことなく、残存するプレス成型油の除去処理が容易
におこなうことができる。
【0012】次に本発明の第1番目のプレス成型品の処
理方法の構成によれば、前記一般式(化1)で示される
アルキルカーボネートを有効成分として含有してなるプ
レス成型油をプレス表面に塗布し、金属材料をプレス成
型した後、プレス成型された金属材料を温水を使用して
前記プレス成型油を洗浄除去し、しかる後乾燥すること
により、基準以下である約10μg/cm2 以下の油分
残渣を得ることができる。
【0013】前記において、温水の温度が40〜80℃
であり、金属材料を温水に浸漬処理またはシャワー処理
するという好ましい構成によれば、効率良く、かつ合理
的にプレス成型油を洗浄除去できる。

理方法の構成によれば、前記一般式(化1)で示される
アルキルカーボネートを有効成分として含有してなるプ
レス成型油をプレス表面に塗布し、金属材料をプレス成
型した後、プレス成型された金属材料を加熱して前記プ
レス成型油を蒸発または熱分解して除去することによ
り、基準以下である約10μg/cm2 以下の油分残渣
を得ることができる。

【実施例】以下実施例を用いて本発明をさらに具体的に
説明する。 (実施例1)プレス成型油として前記式(化1)中、R
1 及びR2 の炭素原子数が12〜16の範囲の混合物か
らなる長鎖アルキルカーボネートを有効成分とするオイ
ル(一例として、ミテックス社製(Mitecs Corporation)
の「LIALCARB SR−1000/VR」、外
観:無色または淡黄色透明液体、粘度(40℃):1

【0018】シャドウマスクプレス金型或いはシャドウ
マスク平板に対して、1枚あたり約1gの前記プレス成
型油を塗布してプレス成型した。塗布面としては、シャ
ドウマスクプレス金型表面に塗布するほうが効率的で好
ましかった。このようにすることで、かじり破れの生じ
ることのない所定の良好な成型曲面を得ることができ
た。その後、酸化を防止するためと良好な熱放射率を得
るための表面Fe3 4膜形成処理(黒化処理)が必要
となる。しかしプレス成型油が付着された清浄度の悪い
表面状態では、Fe3 4 が得られなかったり黒化処理
をする炉の中で燃焼させるため炉を傷つける恐れを生ず
る。そこで、シャドウマスクの表面全域に霧状の温水シ
ャワー処理(温度40〜80℃:水圧100〜200k
Pa)を付与した。温水シャワー処理は、シャドウマス
ク1枚あたり約3分間続けた。使用した温水量は約20
リットルであった。ここで温水の温度は、40℃〜80
℃の範囲が最も経済的であった。その後、乾燥して水分
を除去した。
【0019】この工程を通すことによって、良好なFe
3 4 膜形成処理(黒化処理)を行うことができた。ま
た炉を傷つける事なく処理が可能であった。 (実施例2)実施例1において、プレス成型油の除去工
程として、温水シャワー処理のかわりに温水槽を用いた
超音波洗浄処理を行った。すなわち、40℃〜80℃の
範囲の温水槽にシャドウマスクを浸漬し、3分間超音波
洗浄処理した。その後、乾燥して水分を除去した。
【0020】この工程を通すことによって、良好なFe
3 4 膜形成処理(黒化処理)を行うことができた。ま
た炉を傷つける事なく処理が可能であった。 (実施例3)実施例1において、プレス成型油の除去工
程として、温水シャワー処理のかわりに、加熱温度が約
350℃、CO、CO2 及び不活性ガスから選ばれる少
なくとも一つのガスを含む雰囲気条件でで熱分解処理し
た。大気中の燃焼では金属酸化が発生するので雰囲気条
件はCO,CO2 若しくは不活性ガスが好ましい。
【0021】この工程を通すことによって、良好なFe
3 4 を得ることができ、かつ炉を傷つける事なく処理
が可能となった。

【発明の効果】以上説明したように、本発明は長鎖アル
キルカーボネートを有効成分とするプレス成型油を使用
することにより、良好な成型曲面を得、なおかつ油分処
理が容易で清浄度が高いというすぐれた効果を有するシ
ャドウマスクの黒化処理を提供することができるもので
ある。したがって、テレビジョンなどの陰極線管部品に
用いられるシャドウマスクなどの成型に用いても、プレ
ス成型油は残存せず画像特性に影響を与えない。

Claims (7)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項1】 下記一般式(化1)で示されるアルキル
    カーボネートを有効成分として含有してなる陰極線管部
    品用プレス成型油。 【化1】
  2. 【請求項2】 前記式(化1)中、R1 及びR2 の炭素
    原子数が12〜16の範囲の混合物である請求項1に記
    載の陰極線管部品用プレス成型油。
  3. 【請求項3】 請求項1に記載のプレス成型油をプレス
    金型表面に塗布し、金属材料をプレス成型した後、プレ
    ス成型された金属材料を温水を使用して前記プレス成型
    油を洗浄除去し、しかる後乾燥する陰極線管部品用プレ
    ス成型品の処理方法。
  4. 【請求項4】 温水の温度が40〜80℃であり、金属
    材料を温水に浸漬処理またはシャワー処理する請求項3
    に記載の陰極線管部品用プレス成型品の処理方法。
  5. 【請求項5】 請求項1に記載のプレス成型油をプレス
    金型表面に塗布し、金属材料をプレス成型した後、プレ
    ス成型された金属材料を加熱して前記プレス成型油を蒸
    発または熱分解して除去する陰極線管部品用プレス成型
    品の処理方法。
  6. 【請求項6】 加熱温度が100〜600℃であり、C
    O、CO2 及び不活性ガスから選ばれる少なくとも一つ
    のガスを含む雰囲気条件である請求項5に記載の陰極線
    管部品用プレス成型品の処理方法。
  7. 【請求項7】 プレス成型品が、黒化処理前の陰極線管
    用シャドウマスクである請求項1〜6に記載のいずれか
    のプレス成型油及びそれを用いた陰極線部品用プレス成
    型品の処理方法。
