Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.熱、水中処理および/または微生物からなる自然発生分解力の作用によっ て無害の生成物に分解可能な合成熱可塑性重合体であって、 (a)長鎖炭素−炭素結合から形成された熱可塑性ポリマー成分と、 (b)この熱可塑性ポリマー成分に混合された生分解性成分であって、自然発 生分解力がこの生分解性成分を分解除去して炭素−炭素結合の露出面を増加させ 、 (c)自然発生分解力の作用の下に熱可塑性ポリマー成分の露出された炭素− 炭素結合と反応する酸化可能な成分と、 (d)合成熱可塑性重合体に可溶であり、酸化可能な成分のための開始剤とな る第1遷移金属成分と、 (e)第1遷移金属成分とともに触媒として作用して分解を促進する第2遷移 金属成分と、 (f)第1および第2遷移金属成分とともに酸化可能な成分の作用を増強し自 然発生分解力の作用の下に熱可塑性ポリマー成分の炭素−炭素結合を分解する酸 化促進成分と、 からなる合成熱可塑性重合体。 2.生分解性成分がポリサッカライドである請求項1の熱可塑性重合体。 3.酸化可能な成分が過酸化物またはヒドロペルオキ シドを生成し、脂肪酸、脂肪酸エステル、天然脂肪またはこれらの混合物からな る群から選ばれたものである請求項1の熱可塑性重合体。 4.酸化可能な成分が約15重量%までの量で組成中に存在する請求項3の熱 可塑性重合体。 5.第1遷移金属成分がヒドロキシステアリン酸鉄である請求項1の熱可塑性 重合体。 6.第2遷移金属成分がステアリン酸銅である請求項1の熱可塑性重合体。 7.酸化促進成分が芳香族ケトンである請求項1の熱可塑性重合体。 8.芳香族ケトンがベンゾフェノンである請求項7の熱可塑性重合体。 9.ベンゾフェノンが約0.01重量%から約0.2重量%までの量で重合体 中に存在する請求項8の熱可塑性重合体。 10.ポリマー成分に自然発生分解力が作用するまで分解過程の開始を遅延さ せる安定化成分からなる請求項1の熱可塑性重合体。 11.安定化成分がヒンダードフェノールからなる請求項10の熱可塑性重合 体。 12.ヒンダードフェノールがベンゼンプロパン酸および3,5−ビス(1, 1−ジメチルエチル)−4−ヒドロキシ−オクタデシルエステルからなる群から 選ばれ る請求項11の熱可塑性重合体。 13.熱可塑性ポリマー成分が極性ポリマーからなる請求項1の熱可塑性重合 体。 14.極性ポリマーがエチレン/酢酸ビニル−コポリマー(EVA)、エチレ ン/ビニルアルコール−コポリマー(EVAL)、エチレン/アクリル酸−コポ リマー(EAA)、エチレン/アクリル酸メチル−コポリマー(EMAC)、エ チレン/メタクリル酸−コポリマー(EMAA)、エチレンビニルアルコール( EVAL)、ポリビニルアルコール(PVOH)、エチレンビニルアルコール− 酸化炭素コポリマー(EVACO)、エチレンアクリル酸ブチル(EBAC)、 ポリメタクリル酸メチル(PMMA)、およびポリエチレンオキシド(PEO) からなる群から選ばれる請求項13の熱可塑性重合体。 15.ヒドロキシステアリン酸鉄が約0.1重量%から約0.5重量%までの 量で存在する請求項5の熱可塑性重合体。 16.ステアリン酸銅が約0.005重量%から約0.1重量%までの量で存 在する請求項6の熱可塑性重合体。 17.酸化促進成分が、紫外線および/または日光の作用の下に熱可塑性ポリ マー成分の炭素−炭素結合の分解のための光分解促進剤として作用する請求項1 の熱可 塑性重合体。
