Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.メッキしようとする繊維を活性化溶液と接触させ、繊維をすすぎ、そして繊 維をメッキしようとする金属カチオンの溶液中に浸漬する工程を含んでなるアラ ミド繊維を耐久性金属コーテイングで無電解メッキする方法において、 (A)アラミド繊維を80−90%硫酸溶液中で20−60秒間にわたり10− 100℃の範囲内の温度において接触させ、そして (b)メッキしようとする繊維を増感溶液と接触させる前に、実質的に全ての酸 が除去されるまで酸と接触した繊維を水で洗浄することを含んでなる改良。 2.(c)洗浄した繊維を乾燥する追加の工程が存在する、請求の範囲第1項に 記載の方法。 3.乾燥を15−80℃で実施する、請求の範囲第2項に記載の方法。 4.耐久性金属が銅である、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 5.増感溶液が錫−パラジウム溶液である、請求の範囲第4項に記載の方法。 6.耐久性金属が銀である、請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。 7.増感溶液が第一錫溶液である、請求の範囲第6項に記載の方法。 8.a)アラミド繊維を80−90%硫酸溶液中で20−60秒間にわたり10 −100℃の範囲内の温度において接触させ、 (b)実質的に全ての酸が除去されるまで酸と接触した繊維を水で洗浄し、 c)洗浄された繊維を増感溶液と接触させ、 d)繊維をすすいで付着していない増感溶液を除去し、そして e)すすいだ繊維をメッキしようとする金属カチオンの水溶液中に浸漬する 工程を含んでなる、アラミド繊維を耐久性金属コーテイングでメッキする方法。 9.メッキしようとする金属カチオンが銀、銅、ニッケル、およびコバルトより なる群から選択される、請求の範囲第8項に記載の方法。 10.工程(b)の洗浄および工程(c)の接触後に、洗浄された繊維を乾燥す る追加の工程が存在する、請求の範囲第8項に記載の方法。 11.乾燥を15−80℃で実施する、請求の範囲第10項に記載の方法。
