ヤ式の挟持コンベヤ装置9を装備して構成されている。
挟持コンベヤ装置9は、後上り傾斜姿勢で対向配置して
駆動される左右一対の搬送ベルト11,11で構成され
ている。搬送装置2は、前述した左右一対の搬送ベルト
11,11とこれの下方に配置される左右一対のガイド
機構12,12とから構成され、根菜葉部の下部を一対
のガイド機構12,12間で誘導案内しながら、葉部の
上部を一対の搬送ベルト11,11の駆動によって挟持
移送することにより、引抜き部から送られてくる根菜を
