Abstract
Description
Claims (10)
- 1.導管内の流体流れストリームを監視する流体流れ検知システムであって、 一対の所定の長手方向に離間した点の間の流れストリームを略斜めに横切る音響 信号を2方向に送信して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定するための第1の手段と、 一対の所定の間隔で長手方向に整列した点の間で長手方向に導管を通る音響信号 を送信して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定するための第2の手段と、 一対の所定の間隔で周方向に整列した点の間で周方向に導管を通る音響信号を送 信して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定するための第3の手段と、 流体の流速、温度及び圧力を表す出力を供給するために前記第1、第2及び第3 の手段により測定された信号伝達時間に応答する処理手段と よりなる流体流れ検知システム。
- 2.前記第1、第2及び第3の手段の各々は一対の超音波変換器よりなる請求項 1記載の流体流れ検知システム。
- 3.前記第1、第2及び第3の手段は非貫入的に導管に取付けられた複数の変換 器よりなる請求項1記載の流体流れ検知システム。
- 4.前記第1の手段は長手方向に離間した関係で導管の略対向側に取付けられた 一対の超音波発信−受信流量計変換器よりなり、前記第2の手段は前記流量計変 換器の一つに対して長手方向に離間して長手方向に整列した関係で導管に取付け られた温度変換器よりなり、前記第3の手段は前記流量計変換器の一つに対して 周方向に離間して周方向に整列した関係で導管に取付けられた圧力変換器よりな る請求項1記載の流体流れ検知システム。
- 5.前記処理手段は、流体ストリームの流速及び流れストリーム内の音の速度を 決定するために前記第1の手段によって測定された信号伝達時間に応答する第1 の計算手段と、流れストリームの圧力を決定するために前記第2及び第3の手段 によって測定された信号伝達時間に応答する第2の計算手段と、流れストリーム の温度を決定するために流れストリーム内の音の速度及び流れストリームの圧力 に応答する第3の計算手段とを有する請求項1記載の流体流れ検知システム。
- 6.導管内の流体流れストリームを監視する流体流れ検知システムであって、 導管に非貫入的に取付けられ、重要な上流−下流方向成分を有する所定の点の間 の流れストリームを斜め方向に横切る音響信号と、所定の点の間で導管の一部を 長手方向に通る音響信号と、所定の点の間で導管の一部を周方向に通る音響信号 とを送信して受信し、且つ信号伝達時間を測定する複数の音響変換器と、流れス トリームの速度、圧力及び温度を決定するために測定された信号伝達時間に応答 する計算手段と よりなる流体流れ検知システム。
- 7.導管内の流体流れストリームを監視する流体流れ検知システムであって、 導管に非貫入的に取付けられ、所定の点の間で導管の一部を長手方向に通る音響 信号と所定の点の間で導管の一部を周方向に通る音響信号とを送信して受信し、 且つ信号伝達時間を測定する複数の音響変換器と、 流れストリームの速度、圧力及び温度を決定するために測定された信号伝達時間 に応答する計算手段と よりなる流体流れ検知システム。
- 8.導管内の流体流れストリームを監視する方法であって、一対の所定の長手方 向に離間した点の間で流れストリームを略斜めに横切る音響信号を2方向に送信 して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定する段階と; 一対の所定の間隔で長手方向に整列した点の間で長手方向に導管を通って音響信 号を送信して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定する段階と; 一対の所定の間隔で周方向に整列した点の間で周方向に導管を通って音響信号を 送信して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定する段階と; 流体の流速、温度及び圧力を決定するために測定された信号伝達時間に応答する 段階と よりなる流体流れストリーム監視方法。
- 9.前記応答する段階は、流体ストリームの流速及び流れストリーム内の音の速 度を決定するために斜め方向の信号伝達時間に応答する段階と、流れストリーム の圧力を決定するために長手方向及び周方向信号伝達時間に応答する段階と、流 れストリームの温度を決定するために流れストリーム内の音の速度及び流れスト リームの圧力に応答する段階とを含む請求項8記載の方法。
- 10.導管内の流体流れストリームを監視する方法であって、一対の所定の間隔 で長手方向に整列した点の間で長手方向に導管を通って音響信号を送信して受信 し、信号伝達時間を測定する段階と; 一対の所定の間隔で周方向に整列した点の間で周方向に導管を通って音響信号を 送信して受信し、信号伝達時間を測定する段階と; 該導管内の流体圧力を決定するために測定された信号伝達時間に応答する段階と よりなる流体流れ監視方法。
