Claims (41)
- 1.少なくとも、第1ハンドル部材及び該第1ハンドル部材に枢着されたトリガ ー部材を有し、該トリガー部材がその枢軸を中心として第1位置と第2位置との 間を移動自在のハンドル組立体と、 細長いロッドと、 前記ロッドが前記ハンドル組立体の延長部を形成するように前記ロッドを前記ハ ンドル組立体に取り付けるための手段と、第1開放位置と第2閉鎖位置との間で 互いに対して移動自在の第1及び第2の協働工具部材からなり、該第1及び第2 の工具部材は、通常は、前記第1開放位置にある、前記ロッドに取り付けられた 工具ヘッドと、前記ハンドル組立体に摺動自在に受入れられた第1基端、及び前 記工具ヘッドまで延び且つ前記第1及び第2の作動工具部材と重なり関係に及び これから外れるように軸線方向に移動自在の第2先端を有する、前記ロッドを同 心に且つ摺動自在に取り囲む中空チューブと、前記中空チューブを(1)前記ト リガー部材が前記第1位置にある場合の第1引込み位置と(2)前記トリガー部 材が前記第2位置にある場合の第2延長位置との間て前記ロッドに対して軸線方 向に移動させるため、前記中空チューブと前記トリガー部材とを連結する力伝達 手段とを有し、前記中空チューブが第1引込み位置にあるとき、前記第1及び第 2の工具部材が前記第1開放位置にあり且つ前記中空チューブの前記先端が前記 工具ヘッドに対して非押圧位置にあり、前記中空チューブを第2延長位置まで移 動させたとき、前記中空チューブの前記先端は前記第1及び第2の工具部材を前 記第2閉鎖位置に移動させるように配置される、外科用器具。
- 2.前記ロッドを前記ハンドル組立体に固定するための前記手段は、前記ロッド を前記ハンドル組立体から解放するようになっている、請求項1に記載の外科用 器具。
- 3.前記ロッド及び前記工具ヘッドは導電性である、請求項1に記載の外科用器 具。
- 4.前記ロッド及び前記工具ヘッドヘの電力の供給に使用するための、前記ロッ ドに連結された導電端子部材を更に有する、請求項3に記載の外科用器具。
- 5.前記ロッドを前記ハンドル組立体に固定するための前記手段は、導電端子部 材を有する、請求項2に記載の外科用器具。
- 6.前記端子部材は、前記ハンドル組立体の穴を通って延び、前記ロッドに連結 された第1内部分及び前記ハンドル組立体の外側に突出した第2外部分を有する 、請求項5に記載の外科用器具。
- 7.前記端子部材は、ばね賦勢された連結体で前記ロッドに係止されている、請 求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 8.前記端子部材を押圧して前記ロッドに係止連結するばね手段を更に有する、 請求項6に記載の外科用器具。
- 9.前記ロッドを前記ハンドル組立体に取り付けるための前記手段は、比較的小 径の第1部分及び該比較的小径の第1部分と連通した比較的大径の第2部分を持 つことを特徴とする鍵穴形状開口部を持つ導電端子部材からなり、前記ロッドの 基端は、(a)前記開口部の前記比較的大径の部分に嵌合するような大きさであ るが前記開口部の前記比較的小径の部分に関しては大き過ぎる比較的大径のヘッ ド区分と、(b)前記閉口部の前記比較的小径の部分よりも小径の周溝とを有し 、前記端子部材及び前記ロッドは、前記溝が前記開口部の前記小径部分と整合し た状態で位置決めされるように前記ハンドル組立体に位置決めされ、前記ロッド の前記ヘッド区分は前記ハンドル組立体に対して軸線方向に移動しないように捕 捉されている、請求項2に記載の外科用器具。
- 10.前記力伝達手段は、前記ロッドの軸線の長手方向で軸線方向往復運動する ように前記ハンドル組立体内に配置されたチューブハウジングを有し、該チュー ブハウジングは、基端及び先端を有し、前記中空チューブの前記基端は、前記チ ューブハウジングの先端に固定され、前記チューブハウジングは、前記トリガー 部材を前記第1及び第2の位置の一方から他方まで移動するときに前記チューブ ハウジング及び前記中空チューブを前記ロッドに対して軸線方向に移動させるた め、前記トリガー部材が係合する手段を有する、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 11.前記トリガー部材は、前記チューブハウジングと枢動係合する二叉になっ た端部を有する、請求項10に記載の外科用器具。
- 12.前記ハンドル組立体は、互いに固定された第1及び第2の向き合った側部 材からなり、該第1及び第2の側部材は、前記チューブハウジングが摺動自在に 配置されるチャンバを構成する、請求項11に記載の外科用器具。
- 13.前記第1及び第2の側部材は、穴を構成するように成形されており、前記 ロッドを前記ハンドル組立体に取り付けるための前記手段は、前記穴を通って前 記ハンドル組立体の外方に突出した部材を有する、請求項12に記載の外科用器 具。
- 14.前記工具ヘッドは鋏ヘッドであり、前記第1及び第2の工具部材は鋏ブレ ードである、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 15.前記工具ヘッドは前記ロッドから取り外し自在である、請求項1に記載の 外科用器具。
- 16.前記工具ヘッドは、舌部及び溝からなる連結部で前記ロッドに取り外し自 在に取り付けられている、請求項15に記載の外科用器具。
- 17.前記舌部及び溝からなる連結部は、前記中空チューブが第1引込み位置に あるとき、前記中空チューブによって取り囲まれている、請求項16に記載の外 科用器具。
- 18.前記ロッド及び前記工具ヘッドを前記ハンドル組立体に対して回転させる ための手段を更に有する、請求項1に記載の外科用器具。
- 19.手で把持できる互いに枢着された第1及び第2の部材を有し、前記第2部 材は前記第1部材に対してその枢着点を中心として第1位置と第2位置との間で 移動自在のハンドル組立体と、 前記ハンドル組立体の延長部を形成するように前記ハンドル組立体に取り付けら れた細長いロッドと、 第1及び第2の協働工具部材からなり、これらの工具部材は第1工具部材位置と 第2工具部材位置との間で互いに対して移動自在であり、前記第1及び第2の工 具部材は、通常は、前記第1工具部材位置にある、前記ロッドに取り付けられた 工具ヘッドと、 前記ハンドル組立体内に摺動自在に受入れられた第1基端及び前記工具ヘッドと 重なり関係に移動自在であるように配置された第2先端を有する、前記ロッドと 同心であり且つ前記ロッドを摺動自在に取り囲む中空チューブと、前記中空チュ ーブを(1)前記手で把持できる第2の部材が前記第1位置にある場合の第1引 込み位置と(2)前記手で把持できる第2の部材が前記第2位置にある場合の第 2延長位置との間で前記ロッドに対して軸線方向に移動させるため、前記中空チ ューブと前記手で把持できる第2の部材とを連結する、前記ハンドル組立体によ って支持された力伝達手段とを有し、前記中空チューブが第1引込み位置にある とき、前記第1及び第2の工具部材が前記第1開放位置にあり且つ前記中空チュ ーブの前記先端が前記第1及び第2の工具部材に対して非押圧位置にあり、前記 中空チューブを第2延長位置まで移動させたとき、前記中空チューブの前記先端 が前記第1及び第2の工具部材と係合してこれを前記第2工具部材位置に移動す るように配置される、外科用器具。
- 20.ハンドル組立体、工具ヘッド、及び前記ハンドル組立体と前記工具ヘッド とを連結する駆動手段とを有し、 前記ハンドル組立体は、ハンドル及び該ハンドルに枢着されたトリガー部材から なり、 前記工具ヘッドは、互いに間隔を隔てられた第1開放位置と互いに接近した即ち 互いに係合した第2閉鎖位置との間で移動自在の第1及び第2の協働工具部材か らなり、 前記駆動手段は、細長いロッド、該ロッドを取り囲む中空チューブ、前記ロッド の一端を前記ハンドル組立体に固定するための手段、前記工具ヘッドを前記ロッ ドの反対端に固定するための手段、前記チューブを前記ロッドに対して軸線方向 に摺動するように摺動自在に支持するためのハウジング手段、及び前記ハウジン グ手段と前記トリガー部材とを連結するための手段を有し、前記トリガー部材を 操作すると、前記チューブが、前記ロッドに対し、前記チューブが前記工具から 引っ込められ且つ前記第1及び第2の工具部材が前記第1開放位置にある第1位 置と、前記チューブが前記第1及び第2の工具部材と係合し、これらの部材を前 記第2閉鎖位置に保持する第2位置との間で軸線方向に移動される、外科用器具 。

- 28.前記ハンドル組立体に取り外し自在に取り付けられた第1ハウジング及び 該第1ハウジングに摺動自在に取り付けられた第2ハウジングを有し、前記チュ ーブは、前記第2ハウジングに固定されており且つこのハウジングとともに移動 自在であり、前記ロッドは前記第2ハウジングを貫通し且つ前記第1ハウジング に取り付けられている、請求項20に記載の外科用器具。
- 29.前記第1に言及したチューブを取り囲み且つこのチューブの移動を隠す第 2チューブを更に有し、該第2チューブは前記第1ハウジングに固定されている 、請求項28に記載の外科用器具。

- 31.ハンドルートリガー組立体、及び前記ハンドルートリガー組立体に分離可 能に連結された作動工具組立体を有し、前記ハンドルートリガー組立体は、内部 にチャンバを持つハンドルハウジング及び該ハンドルハウジングに枢着されたト リガー部材を有し、前記作動工具組立体は、組織係合部材を持つ工具ヘッドをそ の一端に有し、前記チャンバ内に延び且つ前記ハンドルハウジングに取り外し自 在に連結された管状ハウジングを他端に有し、前記作動工具組立体は、前記組織 係合部材を互いに向かって及び互いから離すように移動させるための機構を更に 有し、該機構は、前記トリガー部材の枢動に応じて前記組織係合部材を互いに向 かって及び互いから離すように移動するように、前記トリガー部材が係合し且つ トリガー部材によって移動される移動自在の手段を前記管状ハウジング内に有す る、外科用器具。
- 32.前記作動工具組立体は、一端が前記管状ハウジング内に延びるロッドと、 前記ロッドの前記一端を前記ハンドルハウジングに取り付けるための手段と、一 端が前記管状ハウジング内に前記ロッドと同軸に且つ前記ロッドと入れ子の関係 で延びる中空シャフトとを有し、前記移動自在の手段は前記中空シャフトに連結 され、前記トリガー部材を前記ハンドルハウジングに対して枢動させると前記シ ャフトが前記トリガー部材の枢動運動の方向に従って軸線方向に移動する、請求 項31に記載の外科用器具。
- 33.前記工具ヘッドは、通常は互いに末広がりの関係で配置された一対の組織 係合部材と、前記組織係合部材の互いに向かう移動に抗するようにこれらの組織 係合部材を押圧するばね手段とを有し、前記シャフトは、前記組織係合部材を包 囲する前端を有し、この前端は、前記トリガー部材を移動させることによって前 記シャフトを前記ロッドに対して前方に移動させたときにこれらの組織係合部材 を互いに向かって押圧する、請求項33に記載の外科用器具。

- 35.ハンドルートリガー組立体、及び前記ハンドルートリガー組立体に分離自 在に連結された作動工具組立体を有し、前記ハンドルートリガー組立体は、内部 にチャンバを持つハンドルハウジング及び該ハンドルハウジングに枢着されたト リガー部材を有し、前記作動工具組立体は、組織係合部材を持つ工具ヘッドをそ の一端に有し、前記チャンバ内に延び且つ前記ハンドルハウジングに取り外し自 在に連結された管状ハウジングを他端に有し、前記作動工具組立体は、前記組織 係合部材を互いに向かって及び互いから離すように移動させるための機構を更に 有し、該機構は、前記トリガー部材の枢動に応じて前記組織係合部材を互いに向 かって及び互いから離すように移動するように、前記トリガー部材が係合し且つ トリガー部材によって移動される移動自在の手段を前記管状ハウジング内に有す る、外科用器具。
- 36.前記ハンドルートリガー組立体は、前記管状ハウジングを前記ハンドルハ ウジングに取り外し係止するため、前記作動工具組立体と係合する、請求項35 に記載の外科用器具。

- 38.前記係止手段は、前記ハンドルハウジングに取り付けられたばね賦勢され た部材である、請求項37に記載の外科用器具。
- 39.前記ロッド及び前記工具ヘッドは導電性であり、前記係止手段は、前記ロ ッドと係合した電気端子ピンからなる、請求項37に記載の外科用器具。
- 40.前記ロッドに取り付けられた斜歯歯車及び前記ハンドルハウジングに枢着 された副トリガー手段を更に有し、該副トリガー手段は、この副トリガー手段を 枢動させると前記ロッド及び前記工具ヘッドが回転するように前記斜歯歯車と係 合する歯車の歯を有する、請求項37に記載の外科用器具。
- 41.前記工具ヘッドは前記ロッドの他端に取り付けられ、前記チューブを入れ 子式に移動することによって前記組織係合部材を開閉する、請求項40に記載の 外科用器具。
