Abstract

PURPOSE:To simply and effectively conduct a reignition after a flame failure by inserting the photoreceiving part of the photoreceiver of a sensor case, in place, into a burner body, and mounting a light shielding member for generating a pseudo-flame failure signal at a photosensor. CONSTITUTION:A light shielding member 30 is formed integrally with an inserting groove 31 for preventing invasion of a light by blocking a window hole 28 when the end of a sensor case 27 is inserted. If flame failure occurs at a burner due to certain reason such as the lack of fuel, etc., a photosensor 26 is taken out of a burner body 18, the end of the case 27 is inserted into the groove 31 of the member 30 to shield the invasion of the light to a photoreceiver 29. The burner is reignited by pressing the reset button of the body 18 while outputting a pseudo-flame failure signal from the photosensor 26. Thus, the reignition after the failure can be simply and accurately conducted.

On the other hand, in the above burner,
A light-receiving element detects the combustion flame of the burner, and if a misfire occurs during combustion, a combustion state detection device is installed to stop the supply of fuel and give an alarm, etc. In the case of failure, the above detection device outputs a flaming signal due to the light that has entered the incinerator or the light that has entered through the observation window provided in the burner body, and the re-ignition operation can be performed even if the reset button is operated. Therefore, as shown in FIG. 8, for example, the sensor case A incorporating the above-mentioned light receiving element is taken out from the burner body, the light receiving window B of the sensor case is covered with, for example, a hand, and a pseudo misfire signal is given to the light receiving element. After the application, the reset button is operated to perform the re-ignition operation, but there is a case that the re-ignition operation cannot be performed because light enters the light-receiving element through the finger gap or the like, and there is a problem that the operation is troublesome.

On the other hand, when the burner fails to ignite, or when the burner misfires for some reason and reignites, the optical sensor is taken out from the burner body, and the light receiving portion of the optical sensor is inserted into the light shielding member to receive the light receiving element. After the light is blocked from entering and a pseudo misfire signal is generated in the light receiving element, a re-ignition operation such as operating the reset button of the burner body is performed.
