Abstract
Description
Claims (12)
- (1)10ないし12個のエチレンオキサイド分子を有するエトキシル化ノニル フエノールで被覆された、1μm以下の大きさであるフッ化(共)重合体の固体 粒子を含むことと、及びこれが実質的に無水物であることとを特徴とする潤滑組 成物。
- (2)フッ化(共)重合体の粒子が、エトキシル化ノニルフエノールの安定した 飽和量で被覆されていることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1項記載の組成物。
- (3)フッ化(共)重合体が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンであることを特徴と する請求の範囲第1項または第2項記載の組成物。
- (4)エトキシル化ノニルフエノールが11個のエトキシル分子を含むことを特 徴とする請求の範囲第1項または第2項記載の組成物。
- (5)フッ化重合体に対するエトキシル化ノニルフエノールの重量比が、ポリテ トラフルオロエチレンならびに、11個のエトキシル分子を有するエトキシル化 ノニルフエノールの場合、1に対し約2であることを特徴とする請求の範囲第1 項ないし第3項の1項記載の組成物。
- (6)請求の範囲第1項ないし第5項の1項に定義の潤滑組成物を含むことを特 徴とする潤滑剤。
- (7)1μm以下の大きさの実質的に無水物のフッ化(共)重合体の粒子を、こ れも同じく実質的に無水である、10,11または12個のエトキシル分子を有 するエトキシル化ノニルフエノールをほぼ倍量用いて撹拌しながら、無水の雰囲 気中で処理して、所期の潤滑組成物を得ることを特徴とする懸濁したフッ化(共 )重合体粒子を含む潤滑組成物の製造法。
- (8)フッ化(共)重合体が、ポリテトラフルオロエチレンであることを特徴と する請求の範囲第7項記載の方法。
- (9)フッ化(共)重合体ならびにエトキシル化ノニルフエノールを、混合前に 、室温より上の温度に上げることを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項または第8項記 載の方法。
- (10)1容量のフッ化(共)重合体に対し、約1.7容量のエトキシル化ノニ ルフエノールを使用することを特徴とする請求の範囲第7項ないし第9項の1項 記載の方法。
- (11)撹拌が、遠心渦流式撹拌機において実施されることを特徴とする請求の 範囲第7項乃至第10項の1項記載の方法。
- (12)粒子を毎分4回転させるために約40分間、撹拌を続けることを特徴と する請求の範囲第11項記載の方法。
