Description
Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.内燃機関(10)であって、シリンダ区域(11)がクランクケース区域( 13)上で旋回せしめられ、制御機構の影響のもとに異なる回転位置をとること により異なる圧縮比が得られる形式のものにおいて、クランクケース区域(13 )が、実質的にシリンダ区域(11)を取囲むように延びている横壁(21,2 2,24,25)を有するように構成され、かつ(又は)横壁に結合され、これ ら横壁(21,22,24,25)が垂直方向に上方制限面(82〜85)を有 するように構成され、これら制限面が実質的に同一平面内に位置しており、更に 、横壁(21,22,24,25)の制限面(82〜85)とシリンダ区域(1 1)との間にシール(34)が配置され、クランクケース区域(13)とシリン ダ区域(11)との間を密封していることを特徴とする内燃機関。 2.横壁(21,22,24,25)の制限面(82〜85)が、シリンダ区域 (11)とこれに固定されたシリンダヘッド(26)との間の境界平面と、実質 的に等しい高さに位置することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の内燃機関。 3.シール(34)が弾性材料から成り、この弾性材料の内縁(35)が剛性材 料製のホールダ(36)に固定され、更にこのホールダ(36)がボルト継手( 37)によりシリンダ区域(11)に固定されていることを特徴とする、請求項 1記載の内燃機関。 4.シール(34)の内縁(35)が、シリンダ区域(11)とシリンダヘッド (26)との間にクランプされ、そりにより密封作用を発揮することを特徴とす る、請求項1記載の内燃機関。 5.シール(34)が、シリンダ区域(11)の周囲に延びるベローズ形状を有 することを特徴とする、請求項1記載の内燃機関。 6.横壁が、クランクケースに固定された、シリンダ区域(11)の両側に延び る2つの横壁(21,22)として構成されており、更に、これら横壁(21, 22)が、それぞれ取付け可能の横壁(24,25)により機関(10)の前端 及び後端に結合されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の内燃機関。 7.クランクケース区域(13)に固定された横壁(21,22)が、クランク ケース区域(13)と一体となるように構成されており、更に、取付け可能の横 壁の1つがギヤケース(24)として構成され、このギヤケース(24)が、ボ ルト継手を介してクランクケース区域(13)と、この区域(13)に固定され た横壁(21,22)とに固定されていることを特徴とする、請求項1記載の内 燃機関。 8.クランクケース区域に固定された横壁(21,22)が、その外側に、機関 用の補助装置(53〜55)を取付けるための取付け穴を有することを特徴とす る、請求項1記載の内燃機関。
