を行わせるものであった。

せ、そのマイクロ波進行波によって定着器へ導入される
被定着処理物の定着を行う、ことを特徴とするマイクロ
波定着装置を要旨とする。

ギ損失・発熱も少なく或はなく、実際上冷却装置を取付
ける必要性がなくなる。

で、第2図に示すように4本の分岐51〜54をもち、
分岐51はマグネトロンにつながる導波管2に面し、分
岐52・53はそれぞれ閉ループを構成する導波管3・
4に面している。他の分岐54は不図示の導波管を通じ
て不図示の吸収端につながれている。

の導波管壁の損失および定着器による反射を無視すれ
ば、マグネトロン出力Pと定着に消費されるエネルギW
は等しい(P=W)。つまり、理想的には、マイクロ波エネ
ルギは 100%定着に使われることになる。整合がとれて
いれば、分岐54を出て第1図には図示されていない吸
収端に至るマイクロ波はないので、この吸収端によるエ
ネルギ損失もない。

とよい。この場合にはアイソレータ8によるエネルギ損
失分だけ効率は悪くなる。

で、冷却装置をつける必要もなくなった。
