Abstract

PURPOSE:To obtain a bathing agent free from chilling feeling after taking a bath and hardly having stretching feeling by including a fermented liquid of lactic acid bacterium as an active ingredient. CONSTITUTION:The bathing agent contains a fermented liquid obtained by subjecting a culture medium consisting essentially of yeast extract, peptone, glucose, etc., to lactic acid fermentation with a lactic acid bacterium as an active ingredient. The blend amount of the fermented liquid of lactic acid bacterium in the bathing agent is preferably 0.5-1.5wt.% in the case of liquid and preferably 0.5-15wt.% in the case of dried powder. The fermented liquid of lactic acid contains lactic acid and sodium lactate as well as various amino acids, vitamins, organic acids such as phosphoric acid, citric acid and formic acid and polysaccharide such as hyaluronic acid. Lactic acid has antibacterial action, extremely high safety to human body and small load to environment. Sodium lactate cleans skin and enhances water retention of keratinous layer because of large hygroscopic force and moisture retention force. The bathing agent is used in ordinary bathtub for house in an amount of about 15-30g.
