従来ハンガーは引っ掛け部分と本体が一つになっていたので襟からハンガーを 通すと襟に引っ掛け部分が引っかかるため通しにくく襟が伸びがちであった。ま た裾からハンガーを通すと時間がかかる。

この考案はハンガーを襟から通し襟を伸ばさず簡単に服をかけるようにするも のである。
