Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 産業上の利用分野 本考案は例えば圧延機用、自動車用等の十字軸自在継手
に関する。
従来の技術 第2図に従来の十字軸自在継手の一部分図を示す。同図
に示すように、十字軸20の軸部21の端面21aと軸
受ケース22の内底面22aとの間に合成樹脂製スラス
トワッシャ23が装着され、十字軸20の軸部21の軸
方向荷重を受けるとともに十字軸20の軸部21の端面
21aと軸受ケース22の内底面22a間の揺動による
焼付きや摩耗防止するようにされている。25は軸受ケ
ース22の内側面22bと軸部21間に配設された針状
ころである。
ところで、一般に切削加工で形成された軸受ケース22
の内底面22aの周縁部には研磨加工上から研磨逃げ溝
22cが形成されている。従って、十字軸自在継手の使
用時、前記研磨逃げ溝22cに合成樹脂製スラストワッ
シャ23の周縁部23aが喰い込んで第3図のように変
形Bを起こしたり、さらには変形部BにクラックAを生
じたりして、合成樹脂製スラストワッシャ23の焼付き
防止及び摩耗防止といった本来の機能が十分に達成しな
くなる問題がある。本考案は上述の問題点に鑑みてなさ
れたものである。
問題点を解決するための手段 本考案は上記の目的を達成するために、十字軸の軸部端
面と切削加工で形成された軸受ケースの内底面間に、該
内底面の研磨逃げ溝を覆う外周縁部を有する合成樹脂製
スラストワッシャが装着された十字軸自在継手におい
て、前記合成樹脂製スラストワッシャと軸受ケース内底
面間に前記合成樹脂製スラストワッシャとほぼ同一直径
を有する金属製スラストワッシャが装着されてなる十字
軸自在継手の構成とした。
作用 十字軸自在継手の使用時、十字軸の軸部の軸方向荷重が
合成樹脂製スラストワッシャに作用しても、合成樹脂製
スラストワッシャの周縁部は金属製スラストワッシャに
より完全に支持された状態のため、研磨逃げ溝に喰い込
んで変形することなく焼付き防止等の所期の作用を達成
できる。
実施例 以下本考案を第1図の実施例にもとづいて説明する。十
字軸1の軸部2の端面2aと切削加工で形成された軸受
ケース3の内底面3aとの間に、該内底面3aの周縁部
に形成された研磨逃げ溝3cを覆う周縁部4aと有する
合成樹脂製スラストワッシャ4が装着され、さらに該ワ
ッシャ4と軸受ケース内底面3aとの間に、前記ワッシ
ャ4とほぼ同一直径を有する金属製スラストワッシャ5
が装着されている。
6は軸受ケース3の内側面3bと軸部2との間に配設さ
れた針状ころである。
なお、両スラストワッシャ4、5は単に重ね合わせて軸
受ケース3と軸部2間に載置されているが、取扱い上必
要により両スラストワッシャ4、5は接着にて一体化し
てもよい。
又、金属製ワッシャ5は耐焼付け性を考慮して、表面に
個体潤滑剤を焼付けする等、潤滑性能を向上させてもよ
い。
考案の効果 以上のように本考案によれば、合成樹脂製スラストワッ
シャに軸方向荷重が作用しても、合成樹脂製スラストワ
ッシャの周縁部は、金属製スラストワッシャにて強固に
支承されているため、軸受ケースの内底面の研磨逃げ溝
に喰い込んで変形したりクラックが生じたりすることが
ない。従って、合成樹脂製スラストワッシャは、十字軸
の軸部端面と軸受ケース内底面間の焼付防止、及び摩耗
防止効果を十分に発揮することができる。

図は従来の十字軸自在継手の一部縦断面図、第3図は従
来構の合成樹脂製スラストワッシャの変形図である。 1……十字軸、2……軸部、 2a……軸部端面、3……軸受ケース、 3a……軸受ケース内底面、 4……合成樹脂製ワッシャ、 5……金属製ワッシャ。

  1. 【請求項1】十字軸の軸部端面と切削加工で形成された
    軸受ケースの内底面間に、該内底面の研磨逃げ溝を覆う
    外周縁部を有する合成樹脂製スラストワッシャが装着さ
    れた十字軸自在継手において、前記合成樹脂製スラスト
    ワッシャと軸受ケース内底面間に前記合成樹脂製スラス
    トワッシャとほぼ同一直径有する金属性スラストワッシ
    ャが装着されてなる十字軸自在継手。
