よる臭気の発生を効果的に防止することを目的とする。 【構成】ペットの便床としてシリカゲル(1) を使用す

【考案の詳細な説明】

【産業上の利用分野】
本考案は犬、猫等の室内で飼育されるペットの便を受けるために使用されるペ ット用便床に関するものである。

【従来の技術】
従来はこの種のペット用便床としてはゼオライト系の吸着剤が使用されていた 。

【考案が解決しようとする課題】
しかしながら上記従来のゼオライト系の吸着剤からなる便床にあっては、脱臭 能が充分でなく、短期間の使用で室内に臭気が充満すると云う問題点があった。

【課題を解決するための手段】
本考案はシリカゲル(1) からなるペット用便床(3) を提供するものである。

【作用】
シリカゲル(1) はペットの糞尿の脱臭効果の上に該糞尿の水分を吸収し乾燥さ せる。したがって糞尿の水分による臭気の拡散も防止できる。

【実施例】
本考案を図１に示す一実施例によって説明すれば、シリカゲル(1) は容器(2) 内に充填されて便床(3) を形成する。 該シリカゲル(1) は細孔径が８０〜１２０Å程度のもので粒径が８〜４０メッ シュ程度のものが望ましく、また細孔径は上記範囲で広い分布を有することが望 ましい。また該シリカゲル(1) にはアンモニア吸着能を向上させるためにクエン 酸、リンゴ酸、タンニン酸等の有機酸を添加してもよい。
【０００７】 上記便床(3) において、容器(2) に約３Kgのシリカゲルを入れ、これを一匹の 猫を飼っている室内に置いて使用したところ、１５日後において始めて糞尿臭が 室内に感知された。 一方比較として同量のゼオライト系脱臭剤を使用した場合は、３日後において 既に糞尿臭が室内に感知された。
【０００８】 本実施例以外、例えばシリカゲル(1) を紙の上等に撒いて便床としてもよい。

【考案の効果】
したがって本考案においては、ペットの糞尿による臭気の発生を長期間にわた って防止することが出来るし、また防虫効果も得られる。
