"Object of the Invention" The present invention is characterized in that it contains an extract obtained by extracting from the root of Danshen as an active ingredient.
The present invention relates to cosmetics that have excellent skin beautifying, whitening, and moisturizing effects. Since ancient times, many cosmetics have been proposed for purposes such as skin conditioning, skin beautification, and whitening rather than basic cosmetics, and they have achieved certain effects. From the viewpoint of wound healing effect and cell activating effect, the present inventor has conducted extensive research into natural active ingredients and found that the extract obtained from the root of Danshen has favorable effects on the skin, that is, skin beautification, whitening, and The present invention was completed after discovering moisturizing effects and hair-nourishing effects. That is, the present invention relates to a cosmetic material containing as an active ingredient an extracted component obtained by extracting from the root of Danshen. "Structure of the Invention" Danjin applied to the present invention is Salvia miltiorrhiza, a perennial plant belonging to the Lamiaceae family.
Bunge or Salvia przewalskii Maxim var.
mandarinorum stib, and the present invention uses an extract (hereinafter abbreviated as Danjin extract) extracted from the dried root of the above plant with an organic solvent and/or water. Incidentally, the above-mentioned Danshen has already been used for other purposes. That is, it is taken as a herbal medicine for the purpose of vasodilation and cardiac inotropy. For the production of the above-mentioned Tanjin extract, known methods can be used. For example, first, the dried root of Tanjin is cut into small pieces with a thickness of 2 cm or less using a cutter, or coarsely ground into a powder, and then mixed with ethyl acetate, acetone, butanol, etc. After extraction by immersion in an extraction solvent obtained by using organic solvents such as propanol, ethanol, methanol, and water alone or by mixing two or more of them, the extraction solvent is distilled off from the resulting extract, and the active ingredients are extracted. Can be separated and collected. The extract thus obtained is generally a pale yellowish brown to reddish brown semisolid or powder, and has almost no odor. Further, the above-mentioned extract can be further purified and used by techniques such as column chromatography, droplet countercurrent partition chromatography, activated carbon or activated clay treatment, if necessary. In addition, a cosmetic containing a water-soluble polymer substance in addition to the Danjin extract has a more favorable skin conditioning effect. This is probably because the water-soluble polymeric substance acts as a vehicle on the skin, effectively transferring the active ingredient Astragalus extract to the stratum corneum and increasing transdermal absorption. Such water-soluble polymer substances have a molecular weight of 2000 or more, and include, for example, polypeptides, water-soluble collagen, mucopolysaccharides, hyaluronic acid, gums, casein, dextrin, gelatin, pectin, etc. One or more of these may be used. Next, the cosmetics provided by the present invention include creams, milky lotions, lotions, lip creams,
There are many products such as lip color, under-make-up, hair nourishing agent, etc. The amount of Danjin extract blended is arbitrarily selected depending on the properties of the cosmetic, but it is usually preferred to be about 0.01 to 10% by weight based on the total weight. is 0.1 to 5% by weight. In addition, the amount of the water-soluble polymer substance blended is approximately 0.001 to 1% of the total weight.
Weight%. Next, as for the method of blending, it is possible to blend the tanjin extract as it is or by dissolving it in water, alcohol, polyhydric alcohol, etc., into cosmetics in the same manner as conventional medicinal ingredients are blended. In addition, the cosmetics according to the present invention contain additives commonly used in cosmetics, such as oils and fats, surfactants, in addition to the above-mentioned Danjin extract and water-soluble polymeric substances.
Antioxidants, fragrances, pigments, alcohols, polyhydric alcohols, preservatives, sunscreen agents, water, humectants, and the like can be blended. "Production Example" Production Example 1 Cut 500g of dried Danjin root into 2 pieces with a cutting machine.
Cut into small pieces less than cm in size, add 2 methanol to the pieces, mix and extract at room temperature for 1 hour, and filter. This operation was repeated twice, and the filtrate was collected and concentrated to dryness under reduced pressure to obtain 20 g of Danjin extract in the form of a light reddish brown powder. (Yield: 4%) Production Example 2 After cutting 200 g of dried roots of Danjin using a cutter, it was ground using a grinder to form a powder. to this
Add 1 part of 50% water-containing methanol, mix and extract at room temperature for 1 hour, and filter. This operation is repeated twice, and the filtrate is collected and concentrated under reduced pressure to a concentration of about 0.3. Add 0.3 of water and stir to make a homogeneous dispersion. Extract the mixture three times using 300 ml of n-butanol each time. The extracts are collected and concentrated under reduced pressure to dryness to give a light brown semi-solid Danjin extract. Obtained 56g. (Yield: 28%) Production Example 3 Slice 500 g of Danjin root into flakes with a thickness of about 5 mm, add hot water 2 at about 60°C to the slices, mix and stir for 30 minutes to extract, and filter. This operation was repeated twice, and the filtrate was collected and freeze-dried to obtain 205 g of Danjin extract in the form of a pale reddish-brown semisolid. (Yield: 41%) "Effects of the Invention" Next, in order to confirm the skin conditioning effect of Danjin extract used in the present invention, a wound healing test was conducted using rats, and the results are shown in Table 2. . The test method is as follows. <Samples> As oil-in-water creams, one that does not contain Danjin extract (Comparative Example-1), one that contains 1.0% (Example-1), and one that contains 3.0% (Example-1).
2) Prepare the above three samples as shown in Table 1 below. Wound Healing Test As experimental animals, 40 5-week-old SD rats were preliminarily bred for 7 days after purchase and were administered to each group.
It was divided into 10 animals each. First, the backs of rats in each group were hair removed using electric clippers, and cleaned with absorbent cotton impregnated with a water-ethanol 3:7 disinfectant solution. Then, four symmetrical skin lesions are created along the midline using a circular chisel (φ11 mm). Next, the group was treated as an untreated group, and the group received 1 treatment each day.
After completing the observation, apply the cream of Comparative Example-1,
The cream of Example-1 and the cream of Example-2 were similarly applied to each group. All specimens were applied once a day at 0.1 g per injured area.
In addition, the wound area was measured and visually observed once a day. The wound area (mm 2 ) of each group was 10
The cure rate was calculated using the following formula. Healing rate = (wound area on day 0 - wound area on day 11) / wound area on day 0 x 100 (%)

It was more beautiful than the Comparative Example-1 group. Next, the cosmetics applied to the present invention were subjected to sensory evaluation after continuous use for 20 days in a clinical test, and the results are shown in Table 3. At this time, the emollient cream of late Example 3 was used as the product of the present invention, and the emollient cream of Example 3 from which Danjin extract was removed was used as a control product. The test method is as follows. Clinical test: A total of 20 mixed male and female panelists applied the control product to the inside of the left upper arm and the invention product to the inside of the right upper arm twice a day in the same manner as in normal use.
After continuing for 20 days, the sensory evaluation items were skin firmness,
The four items of gloss, smoothness, and freshness were evaluated using the following criteria, and the average value of the 20 people was used as the evaluation score.
