Claims (10)
- 1.式: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ で示されるシアナト基含有フェノール樹脂の製造方法であって、次の:(a)第 三アミンを式: ▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼ で示されるフェノール樹脂と、1種以上の水不混和性の非水素結合性溶媒を含む 反応媒質中で約25℃以下の温度において反応させて前記フェノール樹脂のアン モニウム塩を形成する工程;及び (b)前記アンモニウム塩をハロゲン化シアンと前記溶媒中で約0℃以下の温度 において反応させて前記シアナト基含有フェノール樹脂と副生成物としてのハロ ゲン化水素酸アンモニウム塩とを含む反応生成物を形成する工程を含んで成る前 記方法:ただし、前記式においてqとrは0〜3の同−又は異なる整数であり、 但し1とrの合計は、それらが出てくる場所毎に、3に等しく: Zは−CN、又は水素と−CNであり;0とpは、それらが出てくる場所毎に、 0〜4の同一又は異なる正の整数であり; −x−は2価の有機ラジカルであり; R3は、それらが出てくる場所毎に、同一又は異なる基であって、シアヌレート 部分を架橋させるのに必要な条件下において非反応性である、水素以外の置換基 であり;そして nは正の整数である。
- 2.第三アミンがトリアルキルアミンである請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 3.フェノール樹脂のアンモニウム塩とハロゲン化シアンとを現場で反応させる 請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 4.アンモニウム塩とハロゲン化シアンとを−5℃以下の温度において反応させ る請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 5.アンモニウム塩とハロゲン化シアンとを約−5℃〜約−45℃の温度におい て反応させる請求の範囲第5項に記載の方法。
- 6.溶媒がニトロ、ハロ又はこれらの組合せによって置換された脂肪族化合物と 芳香族化合物とから成る群より選択されたものである請求の範囲第1項に記載の 方法。
- 7.溶媒がハロアルカン類より成る群から選択されたものである請求の範囲第6 項に記載の方法。
- 8.溶媒が塩化メチレンである請求の範囲第7項に記載の方法。
- 9.R3がメチル又はエチルであり;oとqが同一又は異なる数であって、0又 は1であり;rが1、2又は3であり;pが3又は4であり;nが約1から約1 0までの数であり;Xがメチレン、若しくはフルフリル、ハロゲン又は炭素数1 〜約10のアルキルによって置換されたメチレン、又は式:CF2−,▲数式、 化学式、表等があります▼又は▲数式、化学式、表等があります▼で示される基 である請求の範囲第1項に記載の方法。
- 10.oとqが0であり;nが1〜10の正の整数であり;rが3であり:pが 4であり:−X−がメチレンであり:溶媒が塩化メチレンである請求の範囲第9 項に記載の方法。
