Description

【考案の詳細な説明】 <産業上の利用分野> 本考案は、角筒(直方体)容器開口部の封着用
の超音波シール装置の改良に関するもので、更に
詳細には上下端開口したスリーブの該開口部を封
着するための超音波シール装置である。
<従来技術とその問題点> 従来、この種の容器の開口部を封着するシール
装置は例えば、実開昭58−79504号のようなもの
が知られている。これは第6図イに示されるよう
に角筒容器aを形成するためのスリーブbの天部
開口部c及び底部開口部dの封着ひれe,e′を素
材表面の熱可塑性樹脂を溶融して、第7図に示す
ようなシールバーfでヒートシールして第7図ロ
に示すように封着し、同図ハに示す容器aを得る
ものである。しかし、実開昭58−79504号の方式
では、シールバーfで封着ひれe,e′を封着する
前に封着ひれe,e′の内面を予熱する必要があ
り、工程の数の面で問題がある。
そこで上記問題点を解決すべく予熱の必要のな
い超音波シール方式が包装分野で用いられている
が、第6図ハに示すような角筒容器aに適用する
場合には次のような問題があり、現在まで採用さ
れるに至つていない。つまり、第8図に示すよう
に胴部シール部gが封着ひれeのほぼ中央に位置
しているため段差h,iが生じ、超音波ホーンj
及びアンビルkの封着ひれlとの当接表面に上記
段差に対応した凹凸を設けないと確実な封着がで
きず、また、そのような凹凸をどのような形状、
配列で設けるかによつて接着不良又は表材表面の
熱可塑性樹脂にピンホールが生じるか否かが左右
され、適切な形状、配列の凹凸を設けた超音波シ
ール装置はなかつた。
<問題点を解決するための手段> 本考案は上記従来技術の問題点を解決すべく考
えられたものであり、ホーンとアンビルとから成
る胴部のほぼ中央に重合接着部を有する角筒状の
液体容器の上下端の開口部を封着するための超音
波シール装置において、前記ホーンの被シール部
当接面のほぼ中央に帯状の凸状を設け、アンビル
の被シール部当接面のほぼ中央に前記凸状と直交
する凹溝を設けて成り、該凹溝の底部は二段構造
としてその段差部分及び両端部分をテーパー状と
して、かつ底部中央の端部には側方に張出した鋭
角状の突出傾斜面を設けたことを特徴する液体容
器の超音波シール装置である。
<作用> 本考案は以上の構成になつているので、角筒状
の液体容器の封着部にアンビルとホーンを当てて
発振器を作動させてホーンを発振させると、前記
第6図に示す容器胴部の重合接着部の段差がアン
ビルの凹溝により吸収されるため重合接着部だけ
に大きな力が加わつて素材表面の熱可塑性樹脂が
流動し過ぎてピンホールが生じることがなく、凹
溝のテーパー部分及び鋭角状の突出傾斜面を利用
して溶融した前記熱可塑性樹脂が流動して表材表
面、端面を埋合わせるようになる。
<実施例> 以下、本考案の実施例を図面に基いて説明す
る。まず、第1図に示すようにホーン1とアンビ
ル2とから成り、ホーン1の容器3の胴部の封着
部5(第6図におけるeに相当)に当接する面の
ほぼ中央に凸条6が設けられ、一方、アンビル2
には封着部5と当接する面のほぼ中央に前記凸条
6と直交する凹溝7が設けられている。
次に前記凸条6、凹溝7について詳しく説明す
ると、まず、凸条6は第2図に示すように、上端
のほぼ中央に平坦部8が形成され、該平坦面8の
両端部から側端9,9にかけて角度の異なる傾斜
面10,11が形成されている。傾斜面10の傾
斜度αは0°〜15°、傾斜面11の傾斜度βは35°〜
45°が好ましい。
凹溝7の底部には第3図に示すように段差部分
12及び両側端部分13,14が形成されてお
り、段差部分12及び両側端部分13,14に
は、それぞれ傾斜面15,16,17が設けられ
ており、かつ、第4図に示すように中央の傾斜面
15の端部には側方に張出した鋭角状の突出傾斜
面21が形成されている。
傾斜面12の傾斜度γは45°〜60°、傾斜面13
の傾斜度δは30°〜45°、傾斜面14の傾斜度εは
30°〜45が好ましい。
次に本実施例の超音波シール装置を第6図に示
される角筒容器aの開口部c,dの封着に用いた
場合について説明すると、第5図に示されるよう
に容器3の封着部5を第6図ロに示す状態に折込
んで胴部の重合接着部4の素材端部18が露出し
ている側をアンビル2の方に向け、重合により肉
厚となつた(本実施例の場合は最大で約4層の厚
み、最少でも3層の厚み)部分19,20がアン
ビル2の凹溝7内に収まるように位置決めし、反
対側からホーン1を封着部5に押し当ててアンビ
ル2とで挟圧して、ホーン1を発振させればよ
い。
この場合、ホーン1の凸条6とアンビル2の凹
溝7の形状の組合わせにより超音波発振により溶
融した素材表面の熱可塑性樹脂が凸条6、凹溝7
のそれぞれの傾斜面10,11,15,16,1
7及び突出傾斜面21を伝つて流動することによ
り素材表面を覆い、特に重合接着部外面の熱可塑
性樹脂層のピンホールの発生及び過発振による焦
げ、さらにアルミニウム箔を素材として用いてい
る場合はアルミニウム箔の割れが未然に防止され
る。
<考案の効果> 本考案は以上の構成になつているので、角筒容
器の胴部の重合接着部を有する封着部の封着にお
いて、ホーンの凸条とアンビルの凹溝との相乗作
用、特に凸条、凹溝それぞれに傾斜面を設けてあ
るので、重合接着部の肉厚部が吸収されるととも
に超音波発振時の発熱により溶融した素材表面の
熱可塑性樹脂の流動が良く、ピンホール、焦げ、
割れ等を防止できる。

  1. ホーンとアンビルとから成る胴部のほぼ中央に
    重合接着部を有する角筒状の液体容器の上下端の
    開口部を封着するための超音波シール装置におい
    て、前記ホーンの被シール部当接面のほぼ中央に
    帯状の凸状を設け、アンビルの被シール部当接面
    のほぼ中央に前記凸状と直交する凹溝を設けて成
    り、該凹溝の底部は二段構造としてその段差部分
    及び両端部分をテーパー状として、かつ底部中央
    の端部には側方に張出した鋭角状の突出傾斜面を
    設けたことを特徴する液体容器の超音波シール装
    置。
