【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は脂肪を含有する動物飼料
のカロリー調節剤として２，３−ブタンジオールと脂肪
酸、特にＣ16-22 脂肪酸とのジエステルの使用に関す
る。
【０００２】
【従来の技術および発明が解決しようとする課題】本発
明で使用するジオールジエステルと構造的に同じ化合物
は一般に植物生長調節剤としてＥＰ−Ａ−Ｏ １６１１
１４号明細書に記載される。２−メチル−１，４−ブタ
ンジオールおよび１，３−プロパンジオールとオレイン
酸、リノール酸およびリノレン酸とのエステルが特に記
載される。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明で使用するジオー
ルジエステルおよびその製造方法は特許出願ＥＰ−Ａ−
Ｏ ４６５６８９号明細書に記載される。ジオールジエ
ステルは乾燥または含水形（後者の場合、滅菌缶または
容器）の動物フード、特にドッグフードおよびキャット
フード組成物に代表的に含まれる脂肪の全部または一
部、例えば１０〜１００％を代替するために使用でき
る。
【０００４】これらのフードでは、ジオールジエステル
はフード重量で３〜２０％を構成することが好ましい。
【０００５】企図した出願と関連する所望特徴により、
ジエステルの脂肪酸の性質および配分はフードの工業技
術的および物理化学的パラメータにより選択できる。好
ましい態様では、パルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、オレイ
ン酸およびリノール酸が主体である。
【０００６】本発明は次例により説明する。例中、％は
特記しない限り重量による。
【０００７】例１ 乾燥ドッグフードを次の量の成分をエクストルージョン
クッキングして得た乾燥形のベースから製造する。 成分 ％ 米 ４４．０４ 家禽屑肉の粉 ３０ コーングルテン粉 １１．１ 大豆粉 １０．１ 牛脂 ３ 塩化カリウム ０．８ 塩、ヨード添加 ０．５ ビタミンプレミックス ０．０５ ミネラルプレミックス ０．０１ ──────── １００ 上記混合物は指示濃度の次の成分で被覆する。 ％ 乾燥ベース混合物 ９０ 半固体〜固体２，３−ブタンジオール ジエステルを含む被覆プレミックス、 次の平均脂肪酸 組成：Ｃ16：０，２５％；Ｃ18：０， １０％；Ｃ18：１，５５％および Ｃ18：２，１０％を有する、および ９０ ７０の沃素指数 ５ 改変牛脂 ５ ───── １００
【０００８】例２ 乾燥キャットフードは例１と同じ方法で次の組成を有す
る乾燥ベースから製造する。 成分 ％ コーン ５９．０９ 家禽屑肉の粉 ２３ コーングルテン粉 １２ 大豆粉 ５ リン酸２カルシウム １ 塩、ヨード添加 １ 塩化コリン ０．３ ビタミンプレミックス ０．２ 塩化カリウム ０．２ ミネラルプレミックス ０．１ タウリン ０．１ 硫酸第１鉄 ０．０１ ──────── １００ 上記乾燥ベースは次の量の被覆混合物で被覆する。 ％ ベース混合物 ８５ 例１で使用した２，３−ブタンジオール ジエステル ５ 改変牛脂 １０ ──────── １００
【０００９】例３ 含水キャットフードは分散体の形で調製するが、缶に入
れ、密封し、次いでオートクレーブで滅菌する。分散体
は次の組成を有する。 成分 ％ 例１で使用の２，３−ブタンジオール ジエステル ５ チキンの頸およびでん部 ３８．９５ 牛の肺 ２２．５３ 機械除骨した牛肉 ４．５４ グアールガム ０．３５ カッパ−カラギナン ０．１０ ミネラルプレミックス ０．３１ ビタミンプレミックス ０．０６ 塩、ヨード添加せず ０．１ オニオン塩 ０．０６ 水 ２８ ─────── １００
【００１０】例４ 含水キャットフード缶詰を次の成分から例３におけるよ
うに製造する。 成分 ％ 例１使用の２，３−ブタンジオール ジエステル ５ 牛の肝臓 ５ 豚の肝臓 ３ 牛の肺 ７ 豚の肺 ６ 豚の腎臓 ５ 魚類 １３ 羊の肺 ６ 大豆単離物 ２ ゲル化剤 ０．５５ グアールガム ０．２ 亜硝酸塩 ０．４ 二酸化チタン ０．２ 重炭酸カルシウム ０．３ ビタミンプレミックス ０．１ ミネラルプレミックス ０．２ 水 ４６．０５ ─────── １００

Claims (6)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 脂肪を含有する動物飼料のカロリー調節
    剤として２，３−ブタンジオールと脂肪酸、特にＣ
    16-22 脂肪酸とのジエステルの使用。
  2. 【請求項２】 カロリー調節剤は飼料の３〜２０重量％
    を構成する、請求項１記載の使用。
  3. 【請求項３】 カロリー調節剤は飼料中の脂肪１０〜１
    ００％に対し代替物として使用する、請求項１記載の使
    用。
  4. 【請求項４】 特にパルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、オレ
    イン酸およびリノール酸の２，３−ブタンジオールジエ
    ステルを使用する、請求項１記載の使用。
  5. 【請求項５】 特にＣ16-22 脂肪酸の２，３−ブタンジ
    オールジエステルをカロリー調節剤として添加すること
    を特徴とする、缶入り乾燥または含水ドッグまたはキャ
    ットフードの製造方法。
  6. 【請求項６】 特にパルミチン酸、ステアリン酸、オレ
    イン酸およびリノール酸の２，３−ブタンジオールジエ
    ステルをフードに添加する、請求項５記載の方法。
