【発明の詳細な説明】
【０００１】
【産業上の利用分野】本発明は、接骨ねじ、ピン等を固
定し、該接骨ねじ、ピン等を外部の固定物に連結させる
ためのクランプカップリングであって、ねじにより連結
可能で、接骨ねじ等を受容するための受け部を有してい
る二つのシェル半部分と、一方のシェル半部分に固定さ
れる玉継手形連結部材とを有する前記クランプカップリ
ングに関するものである。

【従来の技術】米国特許第４３１２３３６号明細書か
ら、外部固定物(aeusserer Fixateur)が知られている。
外部固定物の中心部分は、各端部側にクランプカップリ
ングを有している。クランプカップリングは、接骨ね
じ、ピン等を受容し固定できるよう構成されており、玉
継手と差し込み継手またはねじ込み継手を介して前記中
心部分に連結され、これにより接骨ねじが外部固定物の
中心部分に連結される。この場合、片側に配置される玉
継手形連結部材は、外部固定物の中心部分の軸線にたい
してほぼ４０°ないし４５°の角度だけ曲げることがで
きる。しかし、このことが不都合な場合がある。

【発明が解決しようとする課題】本発明の課題は、この
種のクランプカップリングを次のように改善すること、
即ち簡潔な構成で外部固定物の中心部分とクランプカッ
プリングとの間の曲げ角度をより大きくすることもでき
るように改善することである。

【課題を解決するための手段】本発明は、上記課題を解
決するため、玉継手形連結部材を担持しているシェル半
部分と玉継手形連結部材との間に回り継手が設けられて
いることを特徴とするものである。

【実施例】次に、本発明の実施例を添付の図面を用いて
説明する。
【０００６】図面には、クランプカップリング１が図示
されている。クランプカップリング１は、大体におい
て、二つのシェル半部分２と３から構成されている。シ
ェル半部分２と３は、ねじ４を用いて互いに固定するこ
とができる。シェル半部分２と３内には受け部５が設け
られている。受け部５は、接骨ピン、接骨ねじ等を受容
し位置固定するために用いる。シェル半部分２，３は、
差し込み継ぎ手またはねじ込み継ぎ手のための玉継手形
連結部材６を担持している。この玉継手形連結部材６に
より、公知の外部固定物の外側端部にクランプカップリ
ング１を連結させることができる。玉継手形連結部材６
は、玉９とリング１０から構成されている。リング１０
は、前記固定物への連結に用いる。従来は、玉継手形連
結部材６の玉９がシェル半部分２，３に直接に固定され
ていたが、本発明の図示した実施例では、シェル半部分
３と玉継手形連結部材６との間に回り継手７が設けられ
ている。８は、回り継手７の枢着軸である。枢着軸８
は、“固定部材”としても構成されている。枢着軸８に
は、軸１１を介した玉９が接続し、つば１２を介してシ
ェル半部分３が接続している。枢着軸８はねじ山を具備
し、従って軸１１はつば１２に締め付け固定可能であ
る。このような構成により、玉継手連結部材６をシェル
半部分３にたいして例えば９０°回動させて固定するこ
とができ、その結果クランプカップリング１の使用範囲
が広くなる。
【０００７】さらに、従来のようにリング１０を玉９上
で回動させることももちろん可能である。
【０００８】次に、本発明の有利な構成を列記してお
く。
【０００９】（１）回り継手（７）がロック可能である
ことを特徴とするクランプカップリング。

【発明の効果】本発明により、外部固定物の中心部分と
クランプカップリングを９０°以上曲げることができ
る。この場合、差し込み継手の固定ナットとシェル半部
分との間に玉継手が連結されているので、任意の整向も
可能である。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 【請求項１】 接骨ねじ、ピン等を固定し、該接骨ね
    じ、ピン等を外部の固定物に連結させるためのクランプ
    カップリングであって、ねじ（４）により連結可能で、
    接骨ねじ等を受容するための受け部（５）を有している
    二つのシェル半部分（２，３）と、一方のシェル半部分
    に固定される玉継手形連結部材（６）とを有する前記ク
    ランプカップリングにおいて、 玉継手形連結部材（６）を担持しているシェル半部分
    （３）と玉継手形連結部材（６）との間に回り継手
    （７）が設けられていることを特徴とするクランプカッ
    プリング。
