ーブ状包装材料を容器1つ分に相当する長さ毎に横断状

発明か解決しようとする課題
上記磁性体を用いた装置では、第10図に示すように、
チューブ状包装材料Tのシール部51の容器内側となる
縁部に、波打った溶融樹脂ビード52ができる。このよ
うなビード52ができると、容器に外力が掛かった場合
、ビード52の波の谷山の部分から亀裂が入り、容器が
破れるという問題点がある。上記のようなヒート52が
できる原因としては、2つの真直部の内側に配置された
磁性体では、磁力線の有効利用は図れるが、2つの真直
部の外側に磁力線が拡散することは防止できず、2つの
真直部の外側の部分が不必要な温度まで加熱されるから
であると考えられる。
チューブ状包装材料Tのシール部51の容器内側となる

継ぎ目が存在するし、チューブの両縁部にはチューブの
表側と裏側の連結部が存在する。とくに、チューブの継
ぎ目の部分では、包装材料が3倍厚となって重なってい
て他の部分より厚くなっているため、必要以上に加圧さ
れてその部分では包装材料の紙層が割れるという問題点
がある。

実 施 例
この発明の実施例を、図面を参照してつぎに説明する。
チューブ状包装材料Tは、ウェッブWの一方の縁部内面
と他方の縁部外面を重ね合わせてヒートシールすること
により形成されたものであり、ウェッブWは、第4図に
示すように、容器の外となる側より順次、外ポリエチレ
ン層11、紙層12、接着剤層13、アルミニウム箔層
14および内ポリエチレン層15で一体的に構成された
積層体製である。

高周波コイル27は、第2図に詳しく示すように、内部
を冷却水通路41とする角筒状のものであり、その平坦
な一側面を加圧面42とし、これを加圧部材24の加圧
面31と面一とするように溝32に挿入されている。高
周波コイル27の加圧面42には突条43が形成されて
おり、これは、第1図に示すように、高周波コイル27
の2つの真直部25.25の両端近くの4か所にそれぞ
れ存在し、これら突条43は、シールに際しては、第6
図に示すように、チューブ両縁部をそれぞれ強圧するこ
とになる。

磁性体28は、第2図に示すように、コイル27の奥行
き方向の一寸法に等しい幅Mと、これのほぼ5分の1程
度の厚みNをもつ横断面方形状のものである。

つぎに、第7図および第8図を参照して、磁性体28の
作用について説明すると、第7図のように、磁性体28
が用いられていない場合、コイル27から発生する磁力
線Gは滑らかな楕円を幾つも重ねたように拡がり、コイ
ル27の外側にも拡散する。ところが、第8図に示すよ
うに、コイル27の外側に磁性体28が存在すると、コ
イル27の外側へ拡散しようとする磁力線Gは磁性体2
8の方向、すなわち内向きに屈折され、磁性体28の外
側へは拡散されなくなる。そのため、第8図に矢印Aで
示す包装材料のコイル27より外側の部分は加熱され難
くなる。そのため、第9図に示すように、シールの後、
切断予定部45の両側にはシール部46かそれぞれてき
るが、シール部46の容器内側となる縁部47に余分な
溶融ポリエチレンのビードはできない。
作用について説明すると、第7図のように、磁性体28
が用いられていない場合、コイル27から発生する磁力

発明の効果
この発明によれば、2つの真直部から発生する磁力線が
2つの真直部の外側に拡散されようとしても、磁性体に
より内向きに屈折されるから、包装材料のコイルより外
側の部分、すなわちシール部の容器内側となる縁部が不
必要な温度まで加熱されることが防止される。

- 【特許請求の範囲】 一対の加圧部材23、24の一方の加圧面31に、ア
ルミニウム箔層14を有するヒートシール性紙主体積層
体製チューブ状包装材料Tの横断状切断予定部の両側を
、これらにそってそれぞれ加熱するための互いに平行に
のびた2つの真直部25、26を有するU字状高周波コ
イル27が備わっている、チューブ状包装材料のヒート
シール装置において、 2つの真直部25、26のそれぞれ外側に、これらのほ
ぼ全長にわたってのびた2つの帯状磁性体28が配置さ
れ、 2つの真直部25、26の全長のうち、チューブTの両
縁部をそれぞれ強圧すべき4か所に、真直部25、26
の長さ方向にのびた突条43がそれぞれ設けられ、突条
43の横断面輪郭が円弧状となされていることを特徴と
する、チューブ状包装材料のヒートシール装置。
