Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、合成樹脂の超音波溶着方法に係り、溶着時に
おける被溶着体の傷付防止を図ったものである。
〔従来の技術〕
第3図は、従来の超音波溶着方法を示す分解斜視図、第
4図は、同じくセットした状態を示す断面図である。
すなわち、合成樹脂より成る箱状の被溶着体lに対し、
その内側に同しく合成樹脂型の溶着体(仕切板)6を溶
着するものであり、該被溶着体1の底壁4には集中発熱
部5を突設し、該溶着体6の基部7には、該集中発熱部
5を挿通ずる穿孔8を設けである。
そして、該被溶着体lを金属製の受治具2上に載置する
と共に、該被溶着体lの集中発熱部5に溶着体6の穿孔
8を嵌合し、突出した集中発熱部5に対して、ホーン9
先端の押治具lOを超音波振動させながら鎖線で示すよ
うに押圧するのである。
しかしながら、上記従来の超音波溶着方法にあっては、
被溶着体lが超音波振動を受ける際に、金属製の受治具
2の受面2aとの間で摩擦を生じて、被溶着体lの底面
4aが傷付き、不良になったり、製品としての見栄えが
悪くなってしまうといった問題があった。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題] 本発明は、上記した問題に鑑み、超音波溶着に際して金
属製の受治具による被溶着体の傷付を防止可能な超音波
溶着方法を提供することを目的とする。
〔課題を解決するための手段] 上記目的を達成するために、本発明は、被溶着体を受治
具上に載置し、該被溶着体に対して溶着体を超音波振動
により溶着する方法において、該受治具と該被溶着体と
の間に、該被溶着体よりも低硬度な薄肉樹脂を敷設する
ことを特徴とする。
〔作  用〕
被溶着体よりも低硬度な薄肉樹脂が、被溶着体と受治具
との直接的な接触を防ぐから、被溶着体に傷が付くこと
がない。
〔実施例〕
第1図は、本発明に係る超音波溶着方法の一実施例を示
す分解斜視図、第2図は、同じくセットした状態を示す
断面図である。
本発明の特徴は、被溶着体1と受治具2との間に薄肉樹
脂フィルム3を敷設することにある。
すなわち、合成樹脂より成る箱状の被溶着体1には、そ
の底壁4に集中発熱部5を突設してあり、該被溶着体1
を金属製の受治具2上にセットするに際して、該被溶着
体1と受治具2との間に薄肉樹脂フィルム3を敷設する
のである。そして、該集中発熱部5に対して合成樹脂製
の溶着体(仕切板)6の基部7の穿孔8を嵌合し、該溶
着体6の基部7より2〜311I11突出した集中発熱
部5に対して、ホーン9先端の押治具10を超音波振動
させながら鎖線で示すように押圧して溶着を行うのであ
る。
ここで該薄肉樹脂フィルム3は、被溶着体1よりも低硬
度に設定して該被溶着体1の傷付を防ぎ、さらに、破損
しない必要最小限の厚さLとして、超音波振動をなるべ
く吸収させず、すなわち溶着効率を低下させることなく
、しかも、振動による発熱に耐えるように設定する必要
があり、実験によれば、ポリ塩化ビニリデン等の材料を
用いて、硬度は、ロックウヱルスケールで90〜110
゜厚さtは、0.005〜0゜02[1I11、耐熱温
度は、140″C以上のものが好適である。なお、厚さ
tが増すと、薄肉樹脂フィルム3自体が発熱変形して、
被溶着体1に悪影響を及ぼすので、注意する必要がある
〔発明の効果〕
以上の如くに、本発明によれば、超音波溶着に際して、
被溶着体の傷付を防止することができるから、工程内不
良が低減し、生産性が向上すると共に、商品価値が高ま
るものである。

Claims (1)

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1.  被溶着体を受治具上に載置し、該被溶着体に対して溶
    着体を超音波振動により溶着する方法において、該受治
    具と該被溶着体との間に、該被溶着体よりも低硬度な薄
    肉樹脂を敷設することを特徴とする超音波溶着方法。
