Claims (1)
- 【特許請求の範囲】 1.ハニカム体(1)が少なくとも部分的に少なくとも第1のマクロ構造を備え る板(2、3)から成り、このマクロ構造がハニカム形状、平均流路幅(b)及 び主な機械的特性を決定し、その際ハニカム体(1)が一つの流れ方向(S)へ 流体を貫流可能な平均流路幅(b)を備える複数の流路(4)を有し、板(2、 3)の少なくとも一部が少なくとも部分域において補助的なミクロ構造(5)を 備え、このミクロ構造が平均流路幅(b)の0.01〜約0.3倍で少なくとも 15μmの高さ(h)を有し、その際にミクロ構造(5)が流れ方向(S)に対 して直角に又は角度(α)を成して延び、かつ1〜10mmの間隔を置いて流れ 方向(S)に連続的に設けられることを特徴とする金属製ハニカム体。 2.ハニカム体(1)が平板(2)と波板(3)の交互の層から成るか、又は異 なる波板の層から成り、その際波板(3)の少なくとも一部が第2のミクロ構造 (5)を有することを特徴とする請求項1記載のハニカム体。 3.第2のミクロ構造(5)が凹み、筋、節、溝など(6、7、8、9)から成 り、これらのミクロ構造が流れ方向(S)に対し直角に又は角度(α)を成して 延び、片側又は両側に向かって板(2、3)の表面から突出することを特徴とす る請求項1又は2記載のハニカム体。 4.ミクロ構造(5)が流れ方向(S)に対し75°〜105°望ましくは約9 0°の角度(α)を成して延びることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のハニカ ム体。 5.ミクロ構造(5)が流れ方向(S)に対し±(15°〜75°)、望ましく は約45°の角度(α)を成して延びることを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の ハニカム体。 6.ミクロ構造(5)と流れ方向(S)との間の角度(α)が上下に重なり合う 二つの板層に対してほぼ同じ大きさであり、しかし逆の正負符号を有することを 特徴とする請求項5記載のハニカム体。 7.第2のミクロ構造(5)が相互に2〜8mm、望ましくは約4〜6mmの間 隔(a)を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のハニカム体。 8.第2のミクロ構造(5)が流れ方向(S)へ0.05〜8mm、望ましくは 約0.5〜3mmの広がり又は長さ(e)を有することを特徴とする請求項1又 は2記載のハニカム体。 9.第2のミクロ構造(5)が平均の流路幅(b)の約0.05〜0.1倍の高 さ(h)を有することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載のハニカム体。 10.ハニカム体(1)のすべての板(2、3)が第2のミクロ構造(5)を有 し、その際ミクロ構造の形状、間隔及び配置が板(2、3)の接触範囲における ミクロ構造の形状的相互係合を助成することを特徴とする請求項1又は2記載の ハニカム体。 11.ハニカム体(1)が例えば自動車の排気ガス処理装置のための触媒担体で あることを特徴とする請求項1記載のハニカム体。
