Conventional Techniques Conventional methods for creating complex mosaic patterns by combining various pieces of wood and planks are available in "Special Plywood" by Tadashi Yanagishita, October 10, 1960, Morikita Publishing Co., Ltd., No. 44.
As described on pages 48 to 48, a board cut to a specified size is pasted by hand in a pattern on the surface of the substrate, or small frits are glued in advance in the desired pattern to form an assembled frit, and then sliced. A method has been adopted in which a wide veneer is obtained by applying the same method, and the wide veneer is attached to a substrate.

However, the method of manually attaching the boards one by one was too unproductive and required the skill of the workers, and there were problems with productivity, such as the pattern not matching depending on the lot. On the other hand, the method of creating laminated fritchi is a method that greatly improves the workability of the above-mentioned manual pasting method. Because special techniques are required for such things, no matter how complex the mosaic pattern, it is not easy to manufacture.
Of course, it was also expensive.

Furthermore, transfer printing on the surface of plywood to give it an aesthetic appearance is described in "Wood Industry Handbook" edited by the Forestry Research Institute of the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry, August 10, 1960, Maruzen Co., Ltd., page 467. The printing on this item was nothing more than the grain and grain of natural wood.

Problems to be Solved by the Invention The purpose of the present invention is to attach inexpensive boards as a decorative material in a monotonous wood grain pattern as has been done in the past, but to solve the problems of different wood species. To provide a method for manufacturing a decorative board that has a complicated and luxurious appearance of wood, as if boards were combined and pasted together in a mosaic pattern.

Means for Solving the Problems In the method of manufacturing a mosaic patterned decorative board of the present invention, after pasting a light-colored board of a single wood species on the surface of a substrate so that the wood grain pattern is almost symmetrical, It has a structure in which the surface of the board is partially coated with colored ink of a color different from that of the board, so that the color of the wood species is different from that of the board.

The present invention will be described in detail below with reference to the drawings. FIG. 1 is a sectional view showing an example of a decorative board manufactured according to the present invention. In this embodiment, first, the surface of the commonly used substrate 1, such as a wooden board such as plywood, particle board, or fiberboard, a non-material board such as an asbestos slate board, or a calcium silicate board, or a metal board such as an aluminum or iron plate, is coated with a thickness. Figure 2A
- As shown in K, the wood grain pattern of the board is almost point symmetrical or line symmetrical, and is combined with a relatively monotonous wood grain pattern and pasted. Board 2 may be obtained by peeling natural wood, or may be an artificial wood-grained board with an artificial wood grain pattern. Also, the wood species and combinations are not particularly limited, but a light-colored single wood species veneer may be used. use Note:
The wood grain pattern can be formed by combining the boards by hand or by manually pasting the cut boards 2 onto the surface of the substrate 1, or by using the assembly fritsch method.

Then, a transparent colored ink 3 or an opaque colored ink 4, which is a different color from the board 2, is applied to the required portions of the surface of the board 2 to match the grain direction of the board 2, which is combined to form the monotonous pattern. For example, as shown in FIGS. 3, 4, and 5, the color of a tree species different from that of the board 2 is partially printed. In other words, even if the pasted board 2 is a white veneer with an inconspicuous wood grain pattern, it is possible to print the part 6 in brown veneer using transparent colored ink 3, so that the part 6 can be replaced with teak veneer. By printing it in a yellow-brown color, the part 7 can be made to look like a zelkova veneer, and by coloring it in a beige color,
This is to make the portion 8 appear to be made of veneer veneer.

In addition, the combination of pattern and printing ink is as follows:
It is preferable to use opaque colored ink for the edges 9 of the pattern and the portions expressing the small-area pattern 10, and to construct the pattern using transparent colored ink as much as possible for other portions.

The printing methods used here are commonly used gravure, offset, flat plate, flexo, screen,
Any method capable of printing on a flat surface such as transfer or transfer may be used, and printing in multiple colors is performed. As the printing ink, an ink using a highly transparent dye or transparent pigment as a coloring agent, or an ink using a commonly used opaque pigment is used.

As a pre-treatment process for pattern printing, sanding the surface of the board to make it smooth and applying transparent synthetic resin as a sealer (not shown) improves adhesion with printing ink and prevents ink from bleeding. It is preferable. After printing the pattern, a transparent or colored transparent top coat 5 may be applied to the entire surface using a conventional coating device for surface protection and cosmetic effect. As the top coat, commonly used transparent paints such as amino alkyd resins, polyurethane resins, acrylic resins, and polyester resins, and colored transparent paints made by mixing dyes and transparent pigments with these synthetic resins are used. After the top coat is applied, the coating film is fixed by drying or baking.

Effects of the Invention As described above, the decorative material obtained by the method of the present invention is obtained by combining and pasting boards in a monotonous pattern with almost symmetrical wood grain patterns, and then printing a pattern partially on the surface using colored ink. Therefore, the printed pattern using colored ink can be appropriately selected according to the combination of the wood grain patterns of the board, and the wood texture of the board will not be affected, and even if a low-grade board of a single color is used, it will look as if it were printed with colored ink. It has become possible to obtain a mosaic-like decorative board with a mosaic-like appearance rich in wood texture at a low cost and in large quantities, giving the appearance of a complex combination of boards of different high-grade wood species.

Example 1 A 0.3 mm thick veneer veneer was adhered to the surface of a 1.5 mm thick plywood in a diamond shape as shown in FIG. 2G.
Next, printing was performed on the top surface of the plate using a screen printing method as shown in FIG. However, the image area 9 and the center area 10 were printed using dark brown opaque ink, the light shaded area 7 was printed using zelkova transparent ink, and the light shaded area 6 was printed using blush colored transparent ink. . Next, 120g/ m2 of urethane resin transparent paint is applied over the entire surface of the printed pattern and dried at 70 to 80°C for 40 minutes to create a mosaic-like wood texture that looks like a combination of zelkova veneer and teak veneer. Obtained rich decorative plywood.

Example 2 A 0.2 mm thick agathis veneer was adhered to the surface of a 5 mm thick plywood board in the form of an inverted square beam as shown in FIG. 2D. Next, a pattern as shown in FIG. 4 was printed on the top surface of the plate using a transfer printing method. However, the dark shaded areas 6 were printed using brownish transparent ink, and the monochromatic shaded areas 8 were printed using beige transparent ink.

Next, a colored transparent paint made of amino alkyd resin with a small amount of yellowish brown dye added is applied to the entire surface of the printed pattern.
After applying a topcoat of 80g/ m2 , dry at 70-80℃ for 30 minutes,
A decorative plywood with a mosaic pattern rich in wood texture that looks like a combination of Agatis veneer, teak veneer, and Shioji veneer was obtained.
