【発明の詳細な説明】 産栗上皇且■分立 本発明は圧縮成形プラスチッククロージヤーそして特に
それに圧縮成形ライナを有する圧縮成形プラスチックク
ロージヤーに関する。
ｌ米立伎五 プラスチッククロージヤーは射出成形または圧縮成形に
より一般に製造されてきた０例えば米国特許第３，２１
０．８０５号、４，４３４．７５４号および４．４１８
．８２８号に示されるような圧縮成形により製造された
プラスチッククロージヤーにおいて、クロージヤーを形
成後、これに密閉ライナを定位置に圧縮成形することも
また一般的である。
しよ°　　　　　占 かかる密閉ライナは塩化ポリビニルプラスチックまたは
熱可塑性エラストマ組成物を含みうる。
塩化ポリビニルは押出し中に過熱する傾向を有し更に密
閉ライナをＰＥＴ容器に使用する時は除去トルクに起因
する固有の問題を有する。熱可塑性重合体組成物はより
高価で、その必要な調合が不均一の品質および稠度を結
果する点で製造がより困難である。更に、かかる組成物
はガラス容器上のトルク除去に問題を生ずる。
米国特許第４　、８０７　、７７２号及び４，８４６．
３６２号はポリエチレンまたはポリプロピレンと熱可塑
性エラストマ共重合とのブレンドにより製造され従って
除去可能な圧縮成形ライナを開示する。
両型式の組成による問題の結果として使用者にとって、
プラスチック容器とガラス容器に使用できるための両型
側の密閉ライナを有するクロージヤーの在庫調べを維持
するには費用をかける必要があった。
プラスチック容器及びガラス容器の両者に適用可能な満
足的密閉ライナを製造するため、その組成を調合するの
みか、例えば米国特許第３．９５５，６０５号、４，０
８０，１３６号及び４，２７７．４３１号に示すような
装置で圧縮成形するための組成物を調和的に押し出しそ
して該組成物の装入量を切断することが必要とされる。
このクロージヤーは更に満足的なトルク除去、カーボネ
ーション保持（炭酸飽和保持）、温度や湿度等の環境変
化を経て循環される際の最高負荷下のカーボネーション
保持および容器の満足的な機能達成を含む他のクロージ
ヤーの必須要件をも適えなければならない。
占　　”°　　　　　−の 従って、本発明の諸口的の中で、次の諸要件を適える圧
縮成形密閉ライナを有する圧縮成形プラスチッククロー
ジヤーを提供することである。即ち本発明は公知密閉ラ
イナに固有な諸問題を克服し、プラスチックとガラスの
両容器に満足的に作動し、価格が比較的安（そして容易
に処理でき満足的なりロージャーの諸要件を達成できる
圧縮成形プラスチッククロージヤーを提供する。
皇隻班 第１図及び第２図を参照し、本発明を具体化するポリプ
ロピレンのような適当な材料からなるプラスチッククロ
ージヤー１０は、基板壁１１、容器Ｃ上のねし条と係合
する、対応する内部ねじ条１３を有する外周スカート１
２および上記基板壁１１と外周スカート１２の連結部で
環状形の密閉ライナＳからなる。このクロージヤーは例
えば米国特許第４．４１８，８２８号、４，６１３，０
５２号および４，６５３．６５７号に示されるようなタ
ンパ−表示手段１５（いたずら表示手段）を含み得る。
本発明に従えば、密閉ライナはエチレンビニルアセテー
ト組成物と熱可塑性エラストマ組成物との調合組成物か
らなる。
このエチレンビニルアセテート組成物はその主成分とし
てのポリエチレンと、ビニルアセテートからなるが、任
意的に酸化防止剤や顔料を含みうる。この熱可塑性エラ
ストマ組成物は好ましくは、その主成分としてのポリプ
ロピレンまたはポリオレフィンの他スチレン・ブタジェ
ン・スチレンとを含み、任意的に酸化防止剤と顔料を含
む。
このエチレンビニルアセテート組成物は重量基準でほぼ
下記の範囲内の組成を有しうる。
ポリエチレン　　　　　８５％乃至９１％ビニルアセテ
ート　　　　９％乃至１５％熱可塑性エラストマ組成物
は下記組成を有し得る。
ポリプロピレンまたはポリオレフィン ２０％乃至６０％ スチレンプタジエンスチレン ４０％乃至８０％ このエチレンビニルアセテート組成物の好マシい組成は ポリエチレン　　　　　８８％ ビニルアセテート　　　１２％　である。
酸化防止性潤滑剤および顔料の量は必要なだけ使用でき
る。酸化防止剤は通常プラスチックの粉砕再生および再
使用を便にするため添加される。
潤滑剤はプラスチッククロージヤーの成形における離型
剤として使用される。
優れた結果は、エチレンビニルアセテート組成物の百分
率と熱可塑性エラストマ組成物の百分率がそれぞれ８０
％〜２０％、７５％〜２５％および７０％〜３０％であ
ったテストで得られた。本発明に従って製造された組成
物は均一に押し出され、切断できそしてプラスチックク
ロージヤーに圧縮成形できることが判った。更にこのよ
うなりロージャーにおける密閉ライナが適切なトルク除
去特性を有する密閉部を、プラスチック容器上およびガ
ラス容器上の両方に提供する。
光皿支分来 かくして、満足的なトルク除去、炭酸飽和保持性、最高
負荷下の炭酸飽和保持性および温度および湿度の環境変
化を変遷する際の容器の満足的機能達成を含むクロージ
ヤー要件を通える満足的結果が得られた。
かくして公知密閉ライナに固有の諸問題を克服し、プラ
スチックおよびガラス容器の両方に満足的に作用し、比
較的安価でかつ容易に処理できそして満足的なりロージ
ャーに対する諸要件を適える圧縮成形密閉ライナが提供
されることが判った。

Claims (1)

  1. 【特許請求の範囲】 （１）プラスチッククロージャーにおいて、基板壁、外
    周スカート、該スカート上にあってクロージャーを容器
    に取り付ける手段、および該クロージャーの基板壁の内
    部にその場で圧縮成形された密閉ライナからなり、該密
    閉ライナはエチレンビニルアセテート組成物と熱可塑性
    エラストマ組成物の混和物からなり、該エチレンビニル
    アセテート組成物は該ライナの主構成体であるクロージ
    ャ（２）エチレンビニルアセテート組成物がライナ組成
    物の少なくとも７０％を含む請求項１記載のクロージャ
    ー。 （３）エチレンビニルアセテート組成物がその主成分と
    してポリエチレンそしてその他にビニルアセテートを含
    む請求項２記載のクロージャー。 （４）該ビニルアセテートがエチレンビニルアセテート
    組成物の９乃至１５％を含む請求項３記載のクロージャ
    ー。 （５）該ビニルアセテートがエチレンビニルアセテート
    組成物の１２％を含む請求項４記載のクロージャー。 （６）該エチレンビニルアセテート組成物が約７０乃至
    ８０％そして該熱可塑性エラストマ組成物が２０乃至３
    ０％からなる請求項１記載のクロージャー。 （７）該熱可塑性エラストマ組成物がオレフィンおよび
    スチレンプタジエンスチレンを含む請求項１〜６のいず
    れか一項に記載のクロージャー。 （８）該エチレンビニルアセテート組成物と該熱可塑性
    オレフィン組成物が酸化防止剤と着色顔料を含む請求項
    １〜６のいずれか一項に記載のクロージャー。
