Claims (1)
- 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 イオン源ヘツドでアーク放電によりプラズマを
生成させ、このプラズマから前記イオン源ヘツド
と減速電極を有する引出系との間に与えた引出電
圧によりイオンを引き出すようにしたイオン源に
おいて、 前記減速電極に減速電圧を与える減速電源と、 前記引出系と前記イオン源ヘツドとの間に接続
され、前記引出電圧を与える引出電源と、 前記減速電源における減速電流値を予め定めた
第１の基準値と比較し、前記減速電流値が前記第
１の基準値を超えるときにはアーク垂下信号を出
力する第１の比較手段と、 前記引出電源における引出電流値を予め定めた
第２の基準値と比較し、前記引出電流値が前記第
２の基準値を超えるときにはアーク垂下信号を出
力する第２の比較手段と、 前記第１および第２の比較手段の少なくともい
ずれか一方がアーク垂下信号を出力するときに、
前記アーク放電を垂下させるアーク制御手段とを
備えたことを特徴とするイオン源。
