【発明の詳細な説明】
誘電特性、パイロ電気特性および/または磁気特性に関連して予め定めることが
できる材料の製造法および該材料の使用
本発明は、請求の範囲請求項18よび2の上位概念に記載の材料の製造方法なら
びに該材料の使用に関する。
この使用は、電磁的領域内ならびに他面、例えば温度測定の際に屡々公知技術水
準に比して利点をもって定められている。本発明は、互いに絶縁された導電性粒
子、例えば非導電性または反磁性材料中に存在しているllnm−1000nの
程度の大きさの直径を有するインジウム結晶の導電率に関する認識に基づいてお
り;この導電率は、はぼ3乗に比例して減少する直径をもって急速に減少し、例
えば第1図には、インジウムについて約300にの温度で図示されており、この
場合Xは、直径を意味し、かつδは、導電率を意味する。二重の対数の尺度およ
び試験測定の“実験”と示した領域が考慮された。比較のI;めに、巨視的な導
電率(古典的)および粒子材料(バルク)の導電率に関して従来法により測定可
能な値が示されている。測定は、約10GHzで行なわれるが:この効果は、原
則的に殆ど直流から最高の周波数にまで同じ傾向を有する■R領域内で存在する
。
本発明の目的は、幅広い範囲内で一定の望ましい誘電特性および/または磁気特
性を有する材料を製造する際に前記徴候を意図的に工業上利用できるようにする
ことにある。
請求の範囲請求項1および2には、構成上の理由から互いに別々に材料の製造の
際に所定の誘電特性、パイロ電気特性ないしは磁気特性を予め選択するための方
法が記載されており、請求項3〜11には、たとえなお他の使用可能性それ自体
が記載されているとしても前記材料の例示的な使用が包含されている。この場合
、メソスコピックとは、巨視的と微視的との間、すなわちほぼllnm−100
0nの間の寸法範囲のことである。
本発明により得られた材料の材料特性を検出するためには、20nmの直径を有
するインジウム粒子を油中、例えば油液膜中に、該粒子が直接に高真空下で油中
に蒸発されることによって導入する方法を利用するのが有利である。この場合、
油は、蒸発器を中心に回転する。金属成分、例えば0.5容量%を有するインジ
ウムコロイドの形の不均質媒体が得られる。この金属成分は、約0.20〜約0
.35の充填係数に対して引続く遠心分離によって約70000倍の重力の加速
で上昇させることができる。コロイドを加熱した場合には、粒子の凝集が開始さ
れ、このことは、加熱温度および加熱時間に依存して数1100nの粒径を生じ
る。このためには、特に十分に低温で溶融する材料が適当である。凝集は、粒子
の融点付近で行なわれる。
f−0,2では、著しい凝集は全く存在しない。粒子の成長は、第2図の範囲内
で引続く冷却によって任意に中断させることができ、かつ試料の再加熱によって
継続される。別の適当な系は、例えばセラミックマトリックスまたはプラスチッ
クマトリックス(担体材料)中の金属粒子または半導体粒子である。
粒径および粒子の分布は、公知方法により、例えば電子顕微鏡によって測定する
ことができかつX線(X線の散乱)を用いて測定することができる。第3図は、
約0.25の充填係数でインジウムコロイドのための偏向ベクトルkに依存して
X線の強さJ−k(任意の単位で)を示し、実際に一面で正方形の測定点(曲線
A)は加熱前の場合を示し、他面曲線Bは加熱後の場合を示す。(B)の場合よ
りも僅かなインジウムを有する試料を使用する場合には、曲線C(三角形の測定
点)が明らかになる。
第4図は、メンスコピック金属粒子の導電率の測定を説明するために使用される
。このためには、マイクロ波方法が使用される。複雑な誘電機能、ひいては導電
性は、マイクロ波吸収体および多層試験体の位相(サンドインチ)から得られる
。l0C)(zの利用したマイクロ波測定周波数の振動時間は、10−105で
あリ、したがって室温で金属の典型的なりラクシェーション時間(Relaxa
tionszeit)の場合よりも4倍程度大きく、それによって測定したマイ
クロ波の導電率は、近似的に直流にも当てはまる。この場合、全体のへテロ構造
体の有効な導電率は、純粋な油マトリックスの誘電データを考慮しながら測定さ
れる。例えば、この方法を用いることにより別の絶縁マトリックス中の成分、例
えばマイクロエマルジ覆ンの形の油中の水、コロイドの形の油中のインジウムま
たはセラミック中の白金を測定することができる。
第4図中で、(7)は、テフロン板中に充填されている油中の金属粒子の複雑な
を効誘電関数を表わす。このテフロンは、誘電関数(εT)を有する。
総括的に云えば、前記種類のメンスコピック粒子は寸法に応じて、δ〜x3また
はδ一定数に相応する導電率を有すること確認することができる。この挙動は、
例えば材料技術、現在のマイクロ電子工学および工R−検出技術に対して重大な
結果をもt;らず。
例えば、粒子の大きさを選択することによって、例えばマイクロ波吸収体の製造
の際に絶縁体の場合と金属の場合との間にある導電率の全ての値を予め定めるこ
とができる。同様にして、本発明による方法は、抵抗器または別の導電性構成要
素(コンデンサ、変圧器)をVLSL回路および集積マイクロ波回路の場合に実
現する材料に有利に使用することができる。
本発明により得られた材料は、選択的に望ましい吸収率、反射率および周波数範
囲により選択することができる。従って、空中線列技術において数多くの場合に
使用しt;際に大きな利点をもってアンテナのカバー、例えばレーダーアンテナ
のレドームを構成することができ、このカバーは、実際に作業波長に対しては透
過性であるが、軍事的領域内で敵方に入射するビームに対しては非透過性である
。
レーダーのカムフラージュは、本発明方法により得られた材料で、あj;かも全
部の吸収が行なわれるように可能であり、このことは、目標物体が大型である場
合には、勿論レーダー反射特性を有する囲み内でカムフラージュを錯覚させる“
孔形成”を結果として生じ得る。このような場合には、一定のレーダーエコー構
造体を15得ること、例えば囲み空間内の反射像を本当のものと思わせるかまた
は意識的にレーダーの仮親の目標物を得ることが有利である。
本発明方法により得られる材料の有効な誘電特性の利用は、マイクロ電子工学に
好ましい構成要素、例えばコンデンサおよび抵抗体の場合に最小の空間で実現す
ることができる。
他の導電性構成要素、例えば変圧器および共振器は、マイクロ波長領域内および
ミリ波長領域内で実現可能であり、この導電性構成要素は、この回路の特別の空
間的要件に適合させることができる。
本発明は、準光学的領域内および光学的領域内で選択可能な誘電特性により、例
えばレンズおよび導波管(光ファイバー)の場合のように導波および濾波のため
の構成要素に使用することができる。
第5図によれば、公知技術水準による冷却されていないパイロ電気的IR検出器
は、信号周波数fが低い際に高い検出能り本を有するが、この検出能り本は、不
利に信号周波数fが高い(約10Hzより高い)場合には著しく減少する(実線
の曲線)。この10Hzより高い0本の減少は、誘電的リラクシエーション(d
ielektrische Re1axation)(RC時間)によって測定
される。
ところで、この種のパイロ電気的物質にメンスコピック粒子を導入する場合には
、0本の周波数の減少は、有利により高い周波数に向かって移動され得る(破線
の曲線)。

Claims (11)
- 1.誘電特性またはパイロ電気特性に関連して予め定めることができる材料を製 造する方法において、非導電性担体材料中、例えば固体、例えばセラミック、プ ラスチック中または液体中、例えば油中に、巨視的圧縮状態で導電性の材料(例 えば、金属、半導体)からなる所定の寸法の所謂メソスコピック粒子を予め定め ることができる充填係数に応じて導入することを特徴とする、誘電特性またはパ イロ電気特性に関連して予め定めることができる材料を製造する方法。
- 2.磁気特性に関連して予め定めることができる材料を製造する方法において、 反磁性担体材料、例えば貴金属中かまたは超電導性材料中に巨視的圧縮状態で導 電性の材料(例えば、金属、半導体)からなる所定の寸法の所謂メソスコピック 粒子を予め定めることできる充填係数に応じて導入するか、或いは強磁性担体材 料および/または常磁性担体材料(例えば、金属、半導体)中に巨視的圧縮状態 で反磁性の材料、例えば貴金属からなる所定の寸法の所謂メソスコピック粒子を 予め定めることできる充填係数に応じて導入することを特徴とする、磁気特性に 関連して予め定めることができる材料を製造する方法。
- 3.電磁波のための吸収体への請求項1または2に記載の方法により得られた材 料の使用において、粒子寸法が所定の勾配および/または充填係数により望まし い吸収率または反射率に応じて選択されていることを特徴とする、電磁波のため の吸収体への請求項1または2に記載の方法により得られた材料の使用。
- 4.電磁波のための吸収体への請求項1または2に記載の方法により得られた材 料の使用において、粒子寸法が所定の勾配および/または充填係数により望まし い周波数領域に応じて選択されていることを特徴とする、電磁波のための吸収体 への請求項1または2に記載の方法により得られた材料の使用。
- 5.アンテナカバー、例えばレーダーアンテナのレドームヘの請求項1または2 に記載の方法により得られた材料の請求項3または4に記載の使用。
- 6.レーダーのカムフラージュヘの請求項1または2に記載の方法により得られ た材料の請求項3または4に記載の使用。
- 7.レーダーのカムフラージュまたはレーダーの仮現目標物の設定の際に所定の パターンの電磁吸収構造体または反射構造体を本当のものと思わせるための請求 項1または2に記載の方法により得られた材料の請求項3または4に記載の使用 。
- 8.導電性構成要素、例えばコンデンサ、抵抗体、変圧器への請求項1または2 に記載の方法により得られた材料の使用。
- 9.古典的導波体、例えば条導体、中空導体、同軸導体、スリット導体、マイク ロ波回路(マイクロ波集積回路MIC)との結合の際の請求項8記載の使用。
- 10.例えばVLSI回路およびモノライトマイクロ波ー/ミリ波回路の場合 のように最小の空間で例えばコンデンサおよび抵抗体を実現させるための集積回 路で電子構成要素および/または電子的機能への請求項1または2に記載の方法 により得られた材料の使用。
- 11.導波および瀘波のための光学的領域内および準光学的領域内での請求項1 または2に記載の方法により得られた材料の吏用。
