Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は、画像表示装置に関し、特に任意サイズの階調
画像の表示装置に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来、この種の画像表示装置は、原画像データを格納す
る画像メモリと被表示データを格納するフレームメモリ
との間に１つの倍率変換回路を有するのみであった。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来の画像表示装置は、原画像データを格納す
る画像メモリと被表示データを格納するフレームメモリ
との間に１つの倍率変換回路を有するのみであったなめ
、原画像データのサイズが原画サイズより大きい場合に
は、画像データ全体を画像メモリに格納できなかったり
、画像データ全体を格納出来る様にするためには大容量
の画像メモリが必要であるという欠点がある。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明の画像表示装置は、原画像データを格納する画像
メモリと、被表示データを格納するフレームメモリと、
前記画像メモリの入力側に画像の倍率を任意に変換可能
な第１の倍率変換回路と、前記画像メモリの出力側と前
記フレームメモリの入力側との間に画像の倍率を任意に
変換可能な第２の倍率変換回路とを備えて構成される。
〔実施例〕
次に本発明について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例の構成を示すブロック図であ
る。原画像データ１は倍率変換回路３で画像メモリ４の
サイズと原画像データ１のサイズとを考慮して決められ
た倍率情報２で指定された倍率に変換され画像メモリ４
へ格納される０画像メモリ４に格納された画像データは
表示などのとめに読出され、倍率変換回路６にて倍率情
報５の指示で任意の倍率に変換された後、フレームメモ
リ７に書込まれる。フレームメモリ７に書込まれた表示
などに使用する画像データは直ちに読出されビデオ信号
出力回路８でビデオ信号９に変換されて出力される。
以上のようにして得られたビデオ信号をＣＲＴ表示器な
どで表示すればよい。
〔発明の効果〕
以上にように本発明は、原画像データを格納するメモリ
の入力側にも任意倍率の倍率変換回路を備えるとにより
、原画像データのサイズが画像メモリのサイズより大き
い場合でも画像データ全体を画像メモリに格納すること
ができ、画像データ全体を格納するための大容量の画像
メモリが不要にできるという効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 原画像データを格納する画像メモリと、被表示データを
    格納するフレームメモリと、前記画像メモリの入力側に
    画像の倍率を任意に変換可能な第１の倍率変換回路と、
    前記画像メモリの出力側と前記フレームメモリの入力側
    との間に画像の倍率を任意に変換可能な第２の倍率変換
    回路とを備えて成ることを特徴とする画像表示装置。
