Claims (1)
- 一方の面がマイクロ波を遮断し紫外線を透過す
る金属メツシユで形成された箱形状のマイクロ波
空胴内に棒状の無電極放電管を前記金属メツシユ
に対面して配設し、前記マイクロ波空胴の空胴壁
にマイクロ波結合部を、また前記マイクロ波空胴
内に紫外線反射用の誘電体ミラーを設け、マイク
ロ波発生機が発生するマイクロ波を前記マイクロ
波結合部を介して前記無電極放電管に給電し、プ
ラズマ放電により生じる紫外線を前記金属メツシ
ユを介して外部へ放射するマイクロ波無電極放電
管装置において、前記無電極放電管の長手方向に
沿うマイクロ波空胴壁をその中腹部が該無電極放
電管側に凸状に張り出すように形成したことを特
徴とするマイクロ波無電極放電管装置。
