Description

【発明の詳細な説明】 〔産業上の利用分野〕 本発明は半導体集積回路用のパッケージに関し、特にパ
ッケージのリードの形状に関する。
〔従来の技術〕
従来半導体集積回路のパッケージとしては、−般的なり
ＩＰ、水平方向に高密度実装可能なＳＩＰ、垂直方向に
高密度可能な表面実装型パッケージとしてフラットパッ
ケージ、ＰＬＣＣ，ＳＯＪ等がある。
〔発明が解決しようとする課題〕
上述した従来の半導体集積回路用パッケージにおいてＤ
ＩＰは高密度実装が出来ず、ＳＩＰは垂直方向に高くな
りかつピンが下方のみの為、ピン数に制限があり、表面
実装型では大型のものではパッケージの大きさ分の面積
が必要になり高密度化出来ないという欠点が夫々にある
。
〔課題を解決するための手段〕
本発明の半導体集積回路用パッケージは、−辺又は複数
辺のリードの長さが一方の端で短かくもう一方の端で長
く、その間徐々に長さが変化しており、かつ各リードの
先端に均一な長さの折り曲げ部を有している。
〔実施例〕
次に、本発明について図面を参照して説明する。
第１図は本発明の一実施例である。半導体集積回路用パ
ッケージ１には隣り合った２辺からのみリードＬ１・・
・ＬＮ、Ｌ、、・・・ＬＮＮが出ており、これら２辺の
接点側のリードＬｌ、Ｌ１１からＬＮ、ＬＮＮへ徐々に
長くなっている。そして各リードの先端には同じ長さの
折り曲げ部を有している。
第２図は本実施例の半導体集積回路用パッケージを複数
個実装したときの側面図である。各パッケージ１は実装
面Ｐに対し斜めに実装される為、リードの長い側の空間
が空き、半導体ＩＣパッケージ２を空き空間に実装する
ことが出来る。
〔発明の効果〕
以上説明したように本発明は、半導体集積回路用パッケ
ージを実装面に対し斜めにかた向けた状態で実装するこ
とにより空き空間ができ空いた空間を別の半導体ＩＣパ
ッケージの実装に使うことが可能となり高密度実装がで
きるという効果がある。

    【特許請求の範囲】
  1. 　一辺又は複数辺のリードの長さが一方の端で短かく、
    もう一方の端では長くその間徐々にリード長が変化し、
    各リードの先端に均一な長さの折り曲げ部を有している
    ことを特徴とする半導体集積回路用パッケージ。
