Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 (1) 画像形成装置の本体側に消耗部品の寿命を
    形成画像の枚数に換算し該換算した形成画像の枚
    数で消耗部品の寿命を設定し記憶する寿命設定記
    憶手段と、画像形成枚数を計数する計数手段とを
    設け、消耗部品側に当該消耗部品が寿命に達した
    場合その使用を不能にする使用不能実現手段を設
    け、前記寿命設定記憶手段の設定値と計数手段の
    計数値を比較し当該消耗部品の寿命を検知した場
    合当該消耗部品の使用不能実現手段を作動させる
    と共に前記計数手段をリセツトし且つ使用不能実
    現手段の作動により画像形成装置の動作を停止す
    る制御手段を設けたことを特徴とする画像形成装
    置における消耗部品の寿命検知装置。 (2) 前記消耗部品に設ける使用不能実現手段が
    所定値以上の電流を通電すると溶断するヒユーズ
    であり、該ヒユーズが接続されている状態で前記
    画像形成装置が作動するように構成されており、
    当該消耗部品が寿命に達した場合制御手段は該ヒ
    ユーズを溶断することを特徴とする請求項(1)記
    載の画像形成装置における消耗部品の寿命検知装
    置。 (3) 前記画像形成装置には前記制御手段が消耗
    部品の寿命を検出したらそれを表示する表示手段
    を具備していることを特徴とする請求項(1)又は(
    2)記載の画像形成装置における消耗部品の寿命検
    知装置。
