Claims (1)

  1. 【実用新案登録請求の範囲】 １ ハウジング１２と、該ハウジング１２内に嵌
    装されたシヤフト３０と、該シヤフト３０を上記
    ハウジング１２内に回転可能に支持するベアリン
    グ装置と、シヤフト３０の一端部に装着されたコ
    ンプレツサホイール３８と、シヤフト３０の他端
    部に装着されたタービンホイール４０とを包含し
    、上記ハウジング１２が周囲空気を上記コンプレ
    ツサホイール３８へ連通させる周囲空気入口手段
    ２０と、圧縮された空気を上記コンプレツサホイ
    ール３８から流通させる周囲空気出口手段２２と
    、排気ガスを上記タービンホイール４０へ連通さ
    せる排気ガス入口手段５２と、排気ガスを上記タ
    ービンホイール４０から流通させる排気ガス出口
    手段６２，６６とを備え、上記タービンホイール
    ４０が上流側端縁４４及び下流側端縁４６を有す
    る軸流タービンブレード４２を備え、上記排気ガ
    ス入口手段５２は排気ガスの流れをタービンブレ
    ードの上流側端縁４４へ指向する流れ指向手段を
    備えているターボチヤージヤにおいて、排気ガス
    は上記タービンブレード４２の上流側端縁４４に
    シヤフト３０の回転軸線に対して略平行な方向か
    ら衝突し、上記排気ガス出口手段６２，６６は排
    気ガスをタービンブレード４２の下流側端縁４６
    から指向させ、排気ガスを上記ハウジング１２か
    らシヤフト３０の回転軸線に対して略平行な方向
    以外の方向へ流通させる手段６６を備えているこ
    とを特徴とする排気ガス駆動ターボチヤージヤ。 ２ 排気ガス入口手段５２はタービンブレード４
    ２の上流側端縁４４とハウジング１２の対応する
    端部との間に画成され、排気ガス出口手段６２，
    ６６は上記ベアリング装置を支持するハウジング
    １２の部分とタービンブレード４２の下流側端縁
    ４６との間に画成されることを特徴とする請求項
    １記載の排気ガス駆動ターボチヤージヤ。 ３ 上記タービンブレード４２はその上流側端縁
    ４４と下流側端縁４６とを相互に連結する軸方向
    に延びた端縁４８を有し、上記ハウジング１２は
    、タービンブレード４２の軸方向に延びた端縁４
    ８を囲繞するとともに排気ガス入口手段５２を排
    気ガス出口手段６２，６６に相互に連結する連結
    部分６８を備えていることを特徴とする請求項２
    記載の排気ガス駆動ターボチヤージヤ。 ４ 上記排気ガス入口手段はシヤフト３０の軸線
    に対して半径方向にオフセツトされた入口５０と
    、排気ガスの流れを上記軸線に向けて半径方向内
    方に指向させそして排気ガスを旋回させてシヤフ
    ト３０の軸線に対して略平行な方向からタービン
    ブレード４２の上流側端縁４４に衝突させる管路
    ５２とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項２記
    載の排気ガス駆動ターボチヤージヤ。 ５ 上記排気ガス入口手段はシヤフト３０の軸線
    に対して半径方向にオフセツトされた入口５０と
    、ハウジング１２の一端部を限定し上記排気ガス
    をタービンブレード４２の上流側端縁４４に向け
    て半径方向内方に連通させる管路５２とを備えて
    いることを特徴とする請求項２記載の排気ガス駆
    動ターボチヤージヤ。 ６ 上記排気ガス出口手段は円周方向に延びた壁
    ６４によつて画定された室６２と、上記壁６４の
    出口６６とを備えていることを特徴とする請求項
    ２記載の排気ガス駆動ターボチヤージヤ。 ７ 上記排気ガス入口手段は上記入口５０からタ
    ービンブレード４２まで漸減する面積を有する上
    記管路を形成するスクロール状部材５２を備え、
    上記スクロール状部材は上記ハウジング１２の一
    端部を閉鎖する横方向の壁５８を有することを特
    徴とする請求項５記載の排気ガス駆動ターボチヤ
    ージヤ。
