上記構成によれば、隔壁が有する冷媒通路により、第1電力変換装置および第2電力変換装置の発熱が抑制される。
図1は、本実施の形態に係る車両1の構成例を示すブロック図である。実施の形態1に係る車両1は、電気自動車である。なお、車両1は、車両1外部の外部電源から供給される電力を受けて車載のメインバッテリを充電する外部充電が可能であればよく、電気自動車に限られるものではない。車両1は、たとえばプラグインハイブリッド自動車または燃料電池自動車であってもよい。
図2は、車両1の走行時における電力供給ユニット20の制御を説明するための図である。図2および後述の図3~図5では、メインバッテリ11、電力供給ユニット20、低圧補機装置40およびACインレット60が模式的に示されている。
図3および図4は、AC充電の実行時における電力供給ユニット20の制御を説明するための図である。本実施の形態では、充電統合ECU26は、AC充電中に要求される低圧補機装置40の要求電力(すなわち低圧補機装置40の消費電力)によって制御を切り替える。図3には、低圧補機装置40の消費電力Paが閾値Pth未満である場合における、低圧補機装置40への電力供給フローが示されている。図4には、低圧補機装置40の消費電力Paが閾値Pth以上である場合における、低圧補機装置40への電力供給フローが示されている。閾値Pthは、サブDC/DCコンバータ24の電力容量(電力線ELへの電力供給能力)に基づいて定められる値である。閾値Pthは、サブDC/DCコンバータ24の電力容量を超えない範囲で適宜設定することができる。
図5は、DC充電の実行時における電力供給ユニット20の制御を説明するための図である。
図6は、電力供給ユニット20の制御の手順を示すフローチャートである。図6のフローチャートに示される処理は、所定の制御周期毎に充電統合ECU26により繰り返し実行される。図6に示すフローチャートの各ステップ(以下ステップを「S」と略す)は、充電統合ECU26によるソフトウェア処理によって実現される場合について説明するが、その一部あるいは全部が充電統合ECU26内に作製されたハードウェア(電子回路)によって実現されてもよい。
実施の形態では、筐体28には、隔壁29により複数の階層が形成される例について説明した。複数の階層は、電力供給ユニット20の車両1への搭載時において、車両1の高さ方向に沿って階層が積み上がるように形成された。しかしながら、隔壁29により、車載機器を収容する複数の収容空間を形成することができればよく、その形成の態様は、複数の収容空間を車両1の高さ方向に沿って積み上がるように形成することに限られるものではない。

前記第2電力変換装置の電力容量は、前記第1電力変換装置の電力容量より小さく、
前記交流充電を実行する場合において、前記補機装置の消費電力が前記閾値より大きい場合には、前記制御装置は、前記第3電力変換装置を動作させて前記メインバッテリを充電し、かつ、前記第1電力変換装置を動作させて前記補機装置に電力を供給し、かつ、前記第2電力変換装置を停止させる、請求項5に記載の電力供給ユニット。 - 前記車両は、前記車両外部の直流電源から供給される直流電力を用いて前記メインバッテリを充電する直流充電が可能に構成され、
前記電力供給ユニットは、前記直流電力を前記メインバッテリに供給するためのリレーをさらに備え、
前記リレーは、前記第1~第3電力変換装置とは異なる収容空間に収容される、請求項3~7のいずれか1項に記載の電力供給ユニット。
