Description
初めに、蓄電素子の管理装置、蓄電装置および蓄電素子の入出力制御方法の概要について説明する。
蓄電素子の管理装置は、蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電による通電電気量を算出する電気量算出部と、制御部とを備え、前記制御部は、前記通電電気量を前記蓄電素子の実容量で除した値であるΔSOCが、上限ΔSOCを超えないように蓄電素子の充放電時の入出力を制御する。
蓄電素子の入出力制御方法は、蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電による通電電気量を実容量で除した値であるΔSOCが、上限ΔSOCを超えないように前記蓄電素子の充放電時の入出力を制御する。
ここで、実容量(available capacity)とは、蓄電素子が完全充電された状態から取り出し可能な容量である。通電電気量はI×T、つまり、電流と通電時間の積(積分値)である。SOCは、実容量に対する残存容量の比率である。
ΔSOCが上限ΔSOCを超えないように制御することで、拡散限界に伴う蓄電素子の抵抗増加による放電時の出力低下を抑制して、電池の性能を十分に使うことができる。
前記制御部は、前記蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電前の充電状態に基づいて前記上限ΔSOCを決定してもよい。
以下、本発明の実施形態について、図1から図21を参照しつつ説明する。
蓄電装置は、例えば、電気自動車や、エンジンとモータとによって駆動されるハイブリッド車両に搭載される蓄電装置10であって、車両に搭載される車両負荷C1へ電力を供給すると共に、車両側発電機(例えば、オルタネータ)C2により充電を受ける。
蓄電装置10は、エンジン始動装置や補機への電源供給を行う12V電源であってもよい。蓄電装置10は、車両駆動アシストや補機への電源供給を行う48V電源であってもよい。
各蓄電素子100の外部端子104を、例えばバスバーなどによって直列に接続することで組電池20を構成する。
<実施形態2>
次に、実施形態2について図19を参照して説明する。
CPU33は、ΔSOCと上限ΔSOCとを比較する(S119)。そして、ΔSOCが上限ΔSOCよりも小さい場合(S119:YES)、出力制御回路43よる出力制限は継続されているものの、連続通電を継続できるものとして、S113に戻る。
本明細書で開示される技術は上記記述及び図面によって説明した実施形態に限定されるものではなく、例えば次のような種々の態様も含まれる。例えば、ある実施形態の構成に多の実施形態の構成を追加することができ、また、ある実施形態の構成の一部を他の実施形態の構成に置き換えることができる。さらに、ある実施形態の構成の一部を削除することができる。

- 蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電による通電電気量を算出する電気量算出部と、
制御部とを備え、
前記制御部は、前記通電電気量を前記蓄電素子の実容量で除した値であるΔSOCが、上限ΔSOCを超えないように蓄電素子の充放電時の入出力を制御する蓄電素子の管理装置。 - 前記制御部は、所定時間を越えて前記蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電が行われる時に、前記ΔSOCが前記上限ΔSOCを越えないように前記蓄電素子の充放電時の入出力を制御する請求項1に記載の蓄電素子の管理装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電前の充電状態に基づいて前記上限ΔSOCを決定する請求項1または請求項2に記載の蓄電素子の管理装置。
- 前記制御部は、前記蓄電素子の連続充電または連続放電前の温度に基づいて前記上限ΔSOCを決定する請求項1から請求項3のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電素子の管理装置。
- 蓄電素子と、
請求項1から請求項4のいずれか一項に記載の蓄電素子の管理装置とを備える蓄電装置。 - 前記蓄電素子の通電を遮断する電流遮断装置を備え、
前記制御部は、前記ΔSOCが前記上限ΔSOCを超えた場合に前記電流遮断装置によって前記蓄電素子の通電を遮断制御する請求項5に記載の蓄電装置。 - 前記蓄電素子の出力を抑制する出力制御手段を備え、
前記制御部は、前記ΔSOCが前記上限ΔSOCよりも低く設定された出力抑制閾値を超えた場合に前記出力制御手段によって前記蓄電素子の出力を抑制制御する請求項6に記載の蓄電装置。 - 蓄電素子の入出力制御方法であって、
蓄電素子の充放電による通電電気量を実容量で除した値であるΔSOCが、上限ΔSOCを超えないように前記蓄電素子の充放電時の入出力を制御する蓄電素子の入出力制御方法。
