Description
図3は、本実施形態の複合材の製造方法の処理の流れを説明するフローチャートである。図4は、本実施形態の複合材の製造方法において用いられる複合材製造装置100を説明する図である。
本実施形態において、複合材製造装置100は、複合材をVaRTM(Vacuum Resin Transfer Molding)法により製造(成形)する装置である。図4に示すように、複合材製造装置100は、成形型110と、フィルム材112と、シール材114と、治具(中子)116と、樹脂拡散メディア118と、樹脂供給部120と、樹脂排出部130とを備える。
接触工程S110では、まず、第1基材150が成形型110上に載置される。そして、第1基材150上に治具116が配された後、治具116上に第2基材160が載置される。つまり、第1基材150と第2基材160との間に、所定の間隔をあけて治具116が配される。
第1含浸工程S120は、第1繊維基材152に含侵された第1樹脂154の一部を第2繊維基材162に含浸させる工程である。本実施形態では、まず、第2繊維基材162上に樹脂拡散メディア118が載置され、樹脂拡散メディア118の上にフィルム材112が被せられる。そして、第1基材150、第2基材160、および、樹脂拡散メディア118の周囲を囲うように、フィルム材112と成形型110との間にシール材114が設けられる。これにより、フィルム材112と成形型110との間に密閉された空間Sが形成され、空間S内に、第1基材150、第2基材160、治具116、および、樹脂拡散メディア118が収容される。その後、樹脂供給部120の配管124、および、樹脂排出部130の配管136がフィルム材112接続される。なお、この際、開閉弁126は閉弁される。
第2含浸工程S130は、第2樹脂170を第2繊維基材162に含侵する工程である。本実施形態の第2含浸工程S130では、真空ポンプ132の駆動を維持したまま、開閉弁126が開弁される。そうすると、樹脂供給タンク122内に貯蔵された第2樹脂170が空間S内に供給される。
硬化工程S140は、第1樹脂154および第2樹脂170を硬化させる工程である。例えば、第1樹脂154および第2樹脂170が熱硬化性樹脂である場合、不図示の加熱装置は、空間S内を所定の硬化温度まで昇温し、空間S内を硬化温度に維持する。硬化温度は、第1樹脂154および第2樹脂170が硬化する温度である。
実施例として、炭素繊維(第1繊維基材152)にエポキシ樹脂A(第1樹脂154)が含侵されたプリプレグ(第1基材150)と、炭素繊維(第2繊維基材162)で構成されたプリフォーム(第2基材160)とを用い、接触工程S110、第1含浸工程S120、第2含浸工程S130、硬化工程S140を実行し、複合材200を製造した。なお、第2含浸工程S130でプリフォームの炭素繊維に含侵させる第2樹脂170としてエポキシ樹脂Bを用いた。

Claims (5)
- 第1基材を構成する第1繊維基材における第1樹脂が含侵された、前記第1基材の第1の面上に治具を設置する工程と、
第2基材を構成する第2繊維基材における樹脂が含浸されていない、前記第2基材の第2の面を前記治具上に設置して、前記第1の面と前記第2の面とを接触させる工程と、
前記第1繊維基材に含侵された前記第1樹脂の一部を前記第2繊維基材に含浸させる工程と、
前記第2基材における前記第2の面の反対側に位置する第3の面に第2樹脂を供給する工程と、
前記第1樹脂および前記第2樹脂を硬化させる工程と、
前記治具を引き抜く工程と、
を含む複合材の製造方法。 - 前記含侵させる工程は、前記第1の面と前記第2の面とを接触させた、前記第1基材および前記第2基材を、前記樹脂の溶融温度範囲内に維持する工程を含む請求項1に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 前記第1基材は、プリプレグまたは片面タックプリプレグである請求項1または2に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 前記第2基材は、プリフォームまたは片面タックプリプレグである請求項1から3のいずれか1項に記載の複合材の製造方法。
- 第1繊維基材と、
前記第1繊維基材の一方の面と接触する、一方の面を有する第2繊維基材と、
前記第2繊維基材の一部および前記第1繊維基材に充填された第1樹脂と、
前記第2繊維基材に充填され、前記第1樹脂と接触する第2樹脂と、
前記第1繊維基材と、前記第2繊維基材との間に形成された中空部と、
を備え、
前記第1樹脂と前記第2樹脂との境界面は、前記第1繊維基材の一方の面と前記第2繊維基材の一方の面との接触面よりも前記第2繊維基材の内側に形成される複合材。
