Description
溶射皮膜を形成するための基材として、縦50mm、横50mm、厚さ5mmのステンレス鋼(SUS304)製の平板を用意し、平均粒子径(D50)が3μmの溶射粉末が分散媒中で分散してなる懸濁液を溶射材料として、サスペンション高速フレーム溶射を行って各試験片を作製した。溶射粉末としては、窒化アルミニウム(実施例1)、酸化アルミニウム(比較例2)、窒化チタン(比較例3)、及び窒化クロム(比較例4)を使用した。溶射ガンのノズルとしては、図3で示した構造のものを使用した。分散媒は、比較例2では水を用い、実施例1、比較例1、比較例3ではエタノールを用いた。また、同じ平板を用意し、粒度が10~45μmの酸化アルミニウム粉末を溶射材料として、大気圧プラズマ溶射を行って別の試験片を作製した(比較例1)。
実施例1及び比較例1~4において成膜した皮膜の表面観察を行うとともに、絶縁破壊試験を実施し、各々の溶射皮膜の絶縁破壊電圧を計測した。絶縁破壊試験は次のようにして行った。80×80mmのアルミホイルを試験片の成膜している表面上の中央に置き、アルミホイルと試験片裏面の間に電圧を印加する。0kVから皮膜が破壊するまで序々に電圧を上げていき、破壊する直前の電圧の値を読み取った。これを膜厚で割った値を単位厚み当たりの絶縁破壊電圧とした。耐電圧試験器として菊水電子工業(株)製のTOS-5101を用いた。
実施例1、比較例1、及び比較例2において成膜した各皮膜の表面粗さRaの測定を行った。表面粗さRaは(株)ミツトヨ製のSurftest SJ-310を用いて測定した。
実施例1において成膜した皮膜の成分分析を行った。図6は、実施例1において作製した皮膜の走査型電子顕微鏡(SEM)による断面観察写真と、その範囲内における各成分の分布を示すマッピング写真、及び当該範囲内における酸素含有量をまとめた表である。成分分析及びマッピングは、エネルギー分散型X線分析装置(EDX)を用いて行った。

Claims (3)
- 金属製の外輪と、この外輪と複数の転動体を介して同心状に配置されて相対回転自在とされた金属製の内輪とを備え、前記外輪及び/又は前記内輪の外表面がセラミックス溶射皮膜で覆われた転がり軸受であって、
前記セラミックス溶射皮膜は、窒化アルミニウムを主成分とし、酸化アルミニウムを分散して含み、酸素を15wt%以上23.5wt%未満含有することを特徴とする転がり軸受。 - 前記セラミックス溶射皮膜は、表面粗さRaが0.2μm以上、1.0μm未満である請求項1に記載の転がり軸受。
- 前記セラミックス溶射皮膜は、膜厚が5μm以上、150μm未満である請求項1又は2に記載の転がり軸受。
