Description
ドライブシャフトは、変速ギヤ部と変速ギヤ操作部との間を通じて車幅方向に延びるので、ドライブシャフトが変速ギヤ部の間と変速ギヤ操作部の間とを通じて車幅方向に延びる場合に比して、ドライブシャフトを組立性良く車体上下方向に分散配置された変速ギヤ部と変速ギヤ操作部との間に配置することができ、ドライブシャフトと変速機とを組立性良く配置することができる。

Claims (5)
- 駆動源から入力される動力を変速して出力する変速機と、前記変速機に連結されて前記変速機から出力される前記駆動源からの動力を駆動輪に伝達するドライブシャフトとを備えた車両の動力伝達装置であって、
前記変速機は、変速機ケース内に軸線が車体前後方向に延びるように配置されて前記駆動源からの動力を変速する変速機構部を有し、
前記ドライブシャフトは、車体前後方向における前記変速機構部の中央側において車幅方向に延び、前記変速機ケースを貫通して設けられ、
前記変速機構部は、同一軸線上に配置された入力軸及び出力軸と、前記入力軸及び前記出力軸と平行に配置されたカウンタ軸と、前記入力軸又は前記出力軸に設けられた第1ギヤと前記カウンタ軸に設けられて前記第1ギヤに噛み合う第2ギヤとでそれぞれなる複数のギヤ列とを有する変速ギヤ部と、前記変速ギヤ部を操作する変速ギヤ操作部とを備え、
前記ドライブシャフトは、前記変速ギヤ部と前記変速ギヤ操作部との間を通じて車幅方向に延びている、
ことを特徴とする車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記ドライブシャフトは、車体上下方向における前記変速機構部の中央側において車幅方向に延びている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1に記載の車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記ドライブシャフトは、前記複数のギヤ列のうち前記第1ギヤ及び前記第2ギヤの上下方向寸法が小さい所定ギヤ列に対応する車体前後方向位置において車幅方向に延びている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1又は請求項2に記載の車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記変速機に連結されると共に前記ドライブシャフトに連結されて前記変速機から出力される前記駆動源からの動力を前記ドライブシャフトに伝達するデファレンシャル装置を備えている、
ことを特徴とする請求項1から請求項3の何れか1項に記載の車両の動力伝達装置。 - 前記デファレンシャル装置が収納されるデフハウジングを備え、
前記デフハウジングは、前記変速機ケースと一体的に形成されている、
ことを特徴とする請求項4に記載の車両の動力伝達装置。
