Claims (4)
- フラットケーブルの端末に取り付けられて相手方コネクタと接続されるコネクタであって、
板状部と、前記板状部に続く端子収容部とを有し、前記端子収容部に後端が前記板状部側に開口する複数の収容穴が貫通形成されているハウジングと、
前記複数の収容穴にそれぞれ収容保持された複数のソケット端子とを備え、
前記ソケット端子は前記相手方コネクタのピン端子が挿入されるボックス部と、前記ボックス部から延長形成されて前記板状部上に突出する片持ち梁状のばね片とを有し、
前記フラットケーブルの端末は前記板状部と前記複数のソケット端子の前記ばね片とに挟み込まれて前記フラットケーブルの端末に形成されているランドに前記ばね片がそれぞれ接触し、
前記ばね片が延長形成されている前記ボックス部の後端と前記ばね片の自由端との間に位置して前記ばね片の前記ランドとの接触時に前記ばね片の固定端として機能し、前記ばね片が前記フラットケーブルから受ける反力を受け止める突起が前記端子収容部の前記収容穴の内面に突出形成されている、
コネクタ。 - 請求項1に記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記ハウジングにおける前記板状部の上方は開放されており、
前記ランド及び前記ばね片を覆うカバーが前記ハウジングに取り付けられていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項2に記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記板状部には挿入穴が形成されており、
前記フラットケーブルに形成されている穴を通って前記挿入穴に挿入される突部が前記カバーに形成されていることを特徴とするコネクタ。 - 請求項1から3のいずれかに記載のコネクタにおいて、
前記ばね片が延長形成されている前記ボックス部の後端と、前記ランドに接触する前記ばね片の接触部との間にブリッジ切断部が位置し、
前記接触部の全体にめっきが施されていることを特徴とするコネクタ。
