Claims (34)
- 一酸化窒素(NO)発生システムであって、以下:
NO発生製剤であり、
安定NO供与体/付加体、
親水性バインダー、及び
添加剤
を含み、ここで前記添加剤が、前記製剤が有効量の水、水蒸気、又は青色光又は紫外(UV)光に暴露された後の前記安定NO供与体/付加体からのNOの放出速度を制御するためのものである、NO発生製剤と;
前記NO発生製剤と動作可能に接触している、使用者の口又は鼻のうちの少なくとも一方に有効に近接してNO発生製剤を保持するためのハウジングを含むフェイスマスクを備える吸入デバイスと、
を含む、一酸化窒素(NO)発生システム。 - 前記NO発生製剤がさらに潤滑剤を含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記安定NO供与体/付加体が、前記NO発生製剤の3wt%~12wt%の量で存在するS-ニトロソチオール(RSNO)粉末であり、
前記親水性バインダーが前記NO発生製剤の15wt%~82wt%の量で存在し、
前記潤滑剤が前記NO発生製剤の1wt%~15wt%の量で存在し、そして、
前記添加剤が前記NO発生製剤の3wt%~60wt%の量で存在する、
請求項2に記載のNO発生システム。 - 前記潤滑剤が、ステアリン酸ナトリウム、ステアリン酸亜鉛、ステアリン酸マグネシウム、ラウリン酸ナトリウム、ラウリン酸亜鉛、パルミチン酸ナトリウム、パルミチン酸亜鉛、パルミチン酸アスコルビル、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択された界面活性剤である、請求項2に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記NO発生製剤がさらに、塩化ナトリウム、重炭酸ナトリウム、塩化カルシウム、微結晶セルロース、二酸化ケイ素、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択された不活性材料を含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記不活性材料が前記NO発生製剤の0wt%超~50wt%の量で存在する、請求項5に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記安定NO供与体/付加体と添加剤との比(mol/mol)が1:0.5~1:10である、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記NO発生製剤が単一固体を含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記NO発生製剤が複数の前記単一固体を含む、請求項8に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記ハウジングが選択的に開閉する、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記ハウジングがさらに、
NO発生製剤と動作可能に接触している空気加湿器と、
前記空気加湿器と流体連通している空気ポンプと、
前記空気加湿器及び前記空気ポンプに動作可能に接続された電力源と
を含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。 - 前記ハウジングがリザーバを部分的に画定しており、そして前記システムはさらに、前記フェイスマスクの内部と前記リザーバの内部との間に位置決めされたリザーバ壁又はフィルタを含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記リザーバ壁又は前記フィルタが水和液不透過性であり、且つNO透過性である、請求項12に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記リザーバが、前記NO発生製剤が溶解された所定の体積の水和液を受容するようになっている、請求項12に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記リザーバ内部に含有される吸収材料をさらに含む、請求項12に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記システムがさらに、前記フェイスマスクの内部と前記リザーバの内部との間に位置決めされた前記フィルタを含み、そして前記フィルタが、前記NO発生製剤によって放出された二酸化窒素(NO2)をスカベンジするための吸収剤、発生したNO2を変化させてNOに戻すための試薬、又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項12に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記NO発生製剤がNO透過性容器内部に含有されており、そして
前記NO透過性容器が、前記フェイスマスクに貼り付けられることなしに前記フェイスマスク内に配置されるようになっている、
請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。 - 前記吸入デバイスがさらに、
前記フェイスマスクに動作可能に接続された空気ポンプと、
前記空気ポンプと流体連通している空気加湿器と、
NO発生製剤を保持するための容器であって、前記容器が前記空気加湿器及び前記フェイスマスクと流体連通している、容器と
を含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。 - 前記吸入デバイスが、さらに
前記容器と流体連通しているガス混合器と、
前記ガス混合器に動作可能に接続された第2空気ポンプと、
前記ガス混合器と前記フェイスマスクとの間に動作可能に接続されたNOセンサと、
前記NOセンサ及び前記ガス混合器に動作可能に接続されたフィードバックコントローラと
を含む、請求項18に記載の湿分活性化型NO発生システム。 - 前記安定NO供与体/付加体が青色光又は紫外(UV)光で活性化可能であり、そして前記システムがさらに前記NO発生製剤を照明するように位置決めされた青色光源又はUV光源を含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記NO発生製剤及び前記青色光源又はUV光源が、前記吸入デバイス上又は吸入デバイス内に位置決めされている、請求項20に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記青色光源又はUV光源が発光ダイオードである、請求項20に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記青色光源又はUV光源が300nm~520nmの光波長を種々の強度で発光する、請求項20に記載のNO発生システム。
- さらに、
前記青色光源又はUV光源に動作可能に接続された制御電子素子と
前記制御電子素子に動作可能に接続されたバッテリーと
を含む、請求項20に記載のNO発生システム。 - さらにNOセンサ、二酸化窒素センサ、又はこれらの組み合わせを含む、請求項20に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記吸入デバイスが、
空気ポンプと、
前記空気ポンプと流体連通している空気加湿器と、
前記空気加湿器と流体連通している、NO発生製剤を保持する容器と、
前記容器と流体連通している鼻カニューレ又はベンチレータと
を含む吸入システムを含む、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。 - NO発生製剤が単一固形物又は複数の単一固形物を含む、請求項26に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記吸入システムがさらに、
前記容器と流体連通しているガス混合器と、
前記ガス混合器に動作可能に接続された第2空気ポンプと、
前記ガス混合器と前記鼻カニューレ又はベンチレータとの間に動作可能に接続されたNOセンサと、
前記NOセンサ及び前記ガス混合器に動作可能に接続されたフィードバックコントローラと、
を含む、請求項26に記載のNO発生システム。 - 前記添加剤は、還元グルタチオン、システイン、アスコルビン酸又はアスコルビン酸塩、パルミチン酸アスコルビル、銅イオン、亜鉛イオン、亜鉛酸化物粒子、有機セレン種、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記有機セレン種が、セレノシステイン及びエブセレンから成る群から選択される、請求項29に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記安定NO供与体/付加体が、S-ニトロソグルタチオン(GSNO)、S-ニトロソ-システイン、S-ニトロソ-N-アセチルペニシラミン、S-ニトロソ-ペニシラミン、及びS-ニトロソ-アルブミンから成る群から選択されたRSNO粉末である、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記安定NO供与体/付加体がニトロプルシドである、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
- 前記親水性バインダーが、ポリビニルアセテート(PVA)、ポリ(エチレングリコール)(PEG)、ポリアクリルアミド、アセテート、ポリエチレンオキシド(PEO)、ポリエチルアクリレート(PEA)、ポリビニルピロリドン、ポリビニルピロリドン-ビニルアセテート(PVP-VA)、ヒドロキシプロピルセルロース(HPC)、ヒドロキシプロピルメチルセルロース(HPMC)、微結晶セルロース、コーンスターチ、及びこれらの組み合わせから成る群から選択される、請求項1に記載のNO発生システム。
