Description
1.プラズマ放電空間と、これに隣接する送液空間とを備える機器であって、両空間の間に形成された界面に、該プラズマ放電空間内の生物活性プラズマ因子は透過するが、該送液空間内の液体は透過しない半透膜が設けられている機器を提供する工程;
2.前記プラズマ放電空間にガスを流す工程;
3.前記送液空間に液体を流す工程;
4.前記プラズマ放電空間内のガスから生物活性プラズマ因子を含む物理的プラズマを生成する工程;および
5.生成した生物活性プラズマ因子を前記半透膜を通して前記液体中へと移行させる工程
を含む方法に関する。
図1Aは、全体を表す参照符号10で示される、プラズマ活性液を生成する医療機器の長手方向の拡大断面図である。機器10は、炎症性疾患、慢性炎症性疾患、新生物性疾患および腫瘍性疾患の生体内治療、ならびに術後癒着の予防に適している。本実施形態では、医療機器10は、プラズマ放電空間12とその下側に隣接する送液空間14を有する。物理的プラズマ16、特に、通常の大気圧下または低圧下で生成する低温プラズマまたは室温プラズマを、プラズマ放電空間12内で生成することができる。送液空間14内では、水、緩衝液、生理食塩水などの液体18が断続的または連続的に流れている。
横行結腸より下部で行われる婦人科手術および一般手術では、術後癒着(PA)や関連する重症疾患のリスクが特に高い。臨床的には、PAは、しばしば腹部、脇腹、または背部の慢性の重度の疼痛症候群を伴うという特徴があるが、何年にもわたって誤診されることが多い。また、PAは、二次性不妊症の全症例の15~20%および機械的イレウス(機械的腸閉塞)の全症例の50~70%を占める。PAは、医療システムに莫大なコストがかかることが推定されている。PAの原因は、腹膜中皮細胞、線維芽細胞および免疫細胞の活性化による細胞外マトリックス(ECM)の過剰形成である。プラズマ活性液(PAL)は、フィブリンおよびECMを産生する結合組織細胞の制御異常や過剰増殖を阻害することによってPAを予防できる可能性がある。
Claims (11)
- プラズマ活性液を生成する医療機器(10)であって、該医療機器(10)が、プラズマ放電空間(12)と、これに隣接する送液空間(14)とを備え、両空間の間に形成された界面(20)に、該プラズマ放電空間(12)内の生物活性プラズマ因子は透過するが、該送液空間(14)内の液体(18)は透過しない半透膜(22)が設けられている医療機器(10)において、
誘電体(24)で絶縁された正電極(26)が前記プラズマ放電空間(12)の界面(20)とは反対側の面に隣接して設けられており、前記送液空間(14)内に、接地電極(28)が配置されており、内視鏡装置と接続するための接続部を備える医療機器。 - 前記半透膜(22)が、前記送液空間内の液体中に気泡が生じないように構成されている、請求項1に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 前記半透膜(22)の平均細孔半径が、5nm未満である、請求項1または2に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 前記半透膜(22)の排除限界が、1000Daである、請求項1~3のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 管状および/またはホース状である、請求項1~4のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 箱型である、請求項1~5のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 前記医療機器の筐体となる支持構造(34)を備える、請求項1~6のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 前記プラズマ放電空間(12)へのキャリアガスの導入と、必要に応じて放出とを行うためのガス接続部(42、44)を有する、請求項1~7のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- 高圧噴霧装置用および/または高圧スプレー装置用の接続部を備える、請求項1~8のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- プラズマ活性液を断続的かつ/または連続的に生成するように構成されている、請求項1~9のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)。
- プラズマ活性液の生成システムであって、請求項1~10のいずれか1項に記載の医療機器(10)と、該医療機器(10)に接続可能な、電極(26、28)に高電圧を印加するための高圧電源(30)とを備える、プラズマ活性液の生成システム。
