Description
本出願は、2018年9月6日に出願された米国特許出願第16/123,005号、発明の名称「Infrared Can Curing Oven」の優先権を主張する。
開示されており、特許請求の範囲に記載される概念は、缶の外側のコーティングを乾燥させるためのオーブンに関しており、より詳細には、赤外線加熱ユニットを用いるオーブンに関する。
Claims (13)
- 缶ボディの側壁外面(4)のコーティングを硬化させるように構成された缶用硬化オーブン(20)において、
閉じた空間(34)を規定するハウジングアセンブリ(30)と、
幾つかの缶ボディ(1)を支持して移動させるように構成された移送アセンブリ(70)であって、前記移送アセンブリ(70)は細長い移送ベルト(72)を含んでおり、
前記移送ベルト(72)は、前記ハウジングアセンブリ(30)に移動可能に結合されて、前記ハウジングアセンブリの前記閉じた空間(34)を移動するように構成されている、移送アセンブリ(70)と、
幾つかの加熱ユニット(102)を含む加熱アセンブリ(100)であって、前記幾つかの加熱ユニット(102)は、総有効量の受熱を生じるように構成されている、加熱アセンブリ(100)と、
を備えており、
前記幾つかの加熱ユニット(102)は、幾つかの赤外線加熱ユニット(110)を含んでおり、
前記幾つかの赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は、総有効量の受放射熱を生じるように構成されており、
前記移送アセンブリ(70)は複数の支持パッド(80)を含んでおり、
前記複数の支持パッド(80)の各々は、缶ボディと結合して支持するように構成されており、
前記複数の支持パッド(80)は従動パッドであり、
各従動パッドは、前記移送アセンブリの移送ベルト(72)に回転可能に結合されており、
前記従動パッドは、円形の駆動係合面(88)を有する本体を含んでおり、
前記ハウジングアセンブリ(30)は細長い駆動バー(50)を含んでおり、
前記駆動バー(50)は、前記移送ベルト(72)に隣接して配置されており、前記従動パッドの本体の前記駆動係合面(88)に動作可能に係合するように構成されている、

- 前記幾つかの赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は複数の赤外線加熱ユニットを含んでおり、
前記幾つかの赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は、前記移送アセンブリの移送ベルト(72)の各側面に配置されている、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。 - 前記缶用硬化オーブン(20)は、第1の形態の缶ボディ(1)と第2の形態の缶ボディのコーティングを硬化するように構成されており、前記第1の形態の缶ボディは、前記第2の形態の缶ボディと異なっており、
前記ハウジングアセンブリ(30)は、調節可能な装着アセンブリ(40)を含んでおり、
前記調節可能な装着アセンブリ(40)は、各赤外線加熱ユニット(110)を第1の位置又は第2の位置に配置するように構成されており、前記第1の位置では、各赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は、前記第1の形態の缶ボディ(1)について、比有効量の受熱を生じるように構成されており、前記第2の位置では、各赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は、前記第2の形態の缶ボディについて、比有効量の受熱を生じるように構成されている、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。 - 各赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は、複数の赤外線エミッタ(112)を含んでおり、
各赤外線エミッタ(112)は選択的に作動するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。 - 各赤外線エミッタ(112)は、缶ボディの外面(4)が有効距離をおいて離れている場合に選択的に作動するように構成されている、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。
- 各赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は、電気式赤外線加熱ユニット、ガス式赤外線加熱ユニット、及びオイル式赤外線加熱ユニットからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。
- 各赤外線加熱ユニット(110)は電球(110”)を含む、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。
- 各支持パッド(80)は缶カップリング(84)を含んでおり、
各缶カップリング(84)は、磁石式カップリング及び吸引式カップリングからなる群から選択される、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。 - 前記ハウジングアセンブリ(30)は、16,000cm3乃至900,000cm3の体積を有する、請求項1に記載の缶用硬化オーブン。
